Real, first thing I thought was that Drake was trying to show him who’s the actual mc by trying to get his (Kendrick’s) career up just to say he’s his son. Now Drake tries to get upcoming artists to sign for OVO to use their work.

Drake getting upset over the control verse is 100% what Kendrick is talking about a decade later. No other rapper was mad about that except Drake (and to a lesser extent, Big Sean). He shouted out rappers he thought was the best but said "And I'm better".

He never grasped the idea of rap being a competitive sport and instead took the Kendrick lines in his feelings. Don't take it personal Drake but Kendrick meant it with "not like us" because you're not from that cloth.

Man lets be real here if there’s anybody who should be mad out of all this it should be Big Sean!! That Kendrick’s verse on “Control” fucked up his roll out for his second studio album “Hall of Fame” cause that song was supposed to been on it. Then recently when he (Big Sean) thought it was safe to come back out and do Tiny Desk performance in comes Kendrick and his verse on “Like That” then from here on out it was back and forth with Kendrick and Drake. Pretty much “Contol 2.0” I know he was swinging at the air behind closed doors.
@jaijai113224 күн бұрын
This has got to be the Twilight Zone because there’s no planet on which Drake and Kendrick are in the same arena. Kendrick was right early on. They are both successful but in different lanes.

More than likely Drake is JUST like his mother's people who love to throw rocks and hide their hands! Drake was most likely gaslighting KDOT by bigging him up in public all whilst doing some shady ish behind the scenes. I'm ELATED KDOT dragged the life out of BBL DRIZZY! 😂
