BDK talking about passing on the game to the next gen.. made me think how much i miss the times shoutouts at the end of album used to be a thing.. for more than a hot minute. A great example was Tribe's midnight marauder album cover.. but yea.. missing those times of shoutouts.. and just more scratching in hip hop songs.

Same. I used to get goosebumps at the end of Salt and Pepa's extended version of "Express Yourself" for the shouts at the end. ".....this is dedicated to the New York Posse, Salt and Pepa says PEACE, we last but not least."
