ive got a bootleg called dead in chicago 1995 that is kind of my prized manson possession. its got marilyn monroe on the cover with superimposed images of charles manson's face on it to.its not super rare but it is an awesome concert and what is cool about it is that it has 5 tracks from the spooky kids era the names aren't listed but dune buggy is one of them, and "irresponsible hate anthem" is listed as "new song." still it pales in comparison to the very impressive collection you have there.

thats awesome! my dad was never big into music but use to ride with some of the hells angels because he was a mechanic and fixed some of their bikes. i remember i left one of my manson magazines at his house and my stepmom explained how he was the antichrist. when i asked my dad for my magazine he said you dont believe in this devil crap do you. i said no i jsut like the music. and he said "see i told u he wasnt a satan worshipper" and tossed my magazine to me and walked away lol.

I remember buying some of those from an ad in the Hit Parader magazine. I have probably 30+ pictures and magazine covers of Manson from Hit Parader. I threw out the magazines but cut out his pictures and saved the covers. One of the covers has a hologram of the Smells Like Children cover. Pretty cool.

Ejacula was the first Manson album I ever bought back in 96 and it's still one of my favorites I prefer the live sound of it to the sterile sound of the Portrait album.

i live the old live sound as well. sometimes when im cleaning my house i often throw on the old concerts to listen to. sometimes even taking the time to edit a song out of a concert to mp3 and make my own live compilation for around the house. also you may know this since your old enough to own the ejacula cd, but there is a pre reznor portrait album. the drums are live on that one so it sounds a lot more rugged and live. when they re did portrait reznor replaced all of saras parts with a drum machine on the final product. you can tell the huge difference in the "pre reznor mix" both are good. reznors is a polished studio album. pre reznor is for that live unpolished feeling

when i bought the cd the internet had webpages that only held like 10 megs at most and mp3s were almost nonexistent lol. it would take me forever just to load a album cover lol. if i was lucky i would find a .rm video in 100 x 100 size quality

i think amazon may have alot of the singles for sale used, and of course the evil ebay you could prob find the concert ones. check the phonebook for any type of local music shop where you can buy and sell used cd's you may find a few in there still. the place we have here in ohio is called "the exchange"

you can check ebay i see some of the old import cds on there sometimes, although finding one with the tattoo still inside still would be hard. unless someone has a sealed one maybe. i only know of one other person who has it and its a friend i grew up with. but you never know there might be some floating around still. my very first concert was manson it was pretty awesome. i was lucky to catch him in his prime

when i bought the beautifull people singles in 1996 they were 12$ american, so in mexico that would be roughly 152 pesos i think. all other singles were around the same price. You might be able to find it cheaper on amazon used, or ebay used.

theres a website that says a estimated price of every manson cd out but i cant remember it but you can prob find it on google. if i remember correctly it was only worth 40 to 60 bucks i think. supposenly that cd wasnt a official, it was supposenly made by a bootleg company similar to the bootleg companys that made the concert cd's. there really hard to find but a fair share was pressed up

actually yeah i been thinking of it. not sure if youtube will yank it down but i will eventually. the audio is actually shitty kinda. its just manson talking to a journalist in a coffee shop of some kind. so you hear alot of chatter in the background and clanging of dishes etc. but its worth a listen

I just started my collection of MM CDs and all I have is Antichrist superstar, Born Villain, Lest we Forget the best of, High end of Low, and Holy wood. I'm geting the lunch box single and Spooky kids Cds next week or something. This is my first CD Collection and probably my last. The only reason I'm collecting CDs is because I just love Manson's work so much.

because he has/had a hatred for daisy berkowitz. or jealousy. daisy was the co founder of manson he made all the music in the beginning and even co write some of the lyrics. when daisy was basically muscled out of the group he sued manson for the rights to all the spooky kids material and won along with 666k ddollars. daisy did put out a spooky kids album with a dvd but manson sued him for using the old artwork. daisy did post mp3s of alot of it temp for free over the years before he passed.

you know what i downloaded it to see if i would like it and i couldnt find 1 song that i liked on it so i deleted it. i really tried to like it but cant seem to get into the new stuff. it didnt sell very well either, around 40,000 copies i think. antichrist sold over 9 million if i remember correct. i know theres digital but still thats a big difference. i heard others say though its his best work though, i think its just not my cup of tea

yah it was a 1995 bootleg cd. i never had it though or never seen it in person. only online. there was a huge amount of the bootleg cds that were sold in magazines. i just happen to be lucky enough to have alot of used record stores near me in the 90s that had a bunch of them. the main place i bought them from went out of business after a year or 2 though and they were to expensive for me to afford as a teen

hippa2dahoppa2 i'm from new England I used to go to Nashua NH cause there was this store there called rocket records they always had rare bootlegs there but the prices were actually somewhat reasonable most of the times I went there I didn't have any money I remember one day my first paycheck from my first job I went there to buy dark adventures and urination and they said they're all sold out and there not getting any new copies cause I think they said jimmy ivovine (the CEO of interscope records) found out these companies were making manson CDs and him trent reznor and manson didn't get any money from the album sales so I think he sued them and took them to court and they all went out of business.

Wayne Wilkinson Jr yah thats actually true i remember hearing about it. the thing is those bootleg cd businesses are kinda what i call hit and run record companies. they make a few cds illegally or even sometimes legally and then fold without paying anyone. they end up keeping the small profit they made and if you sue them you wont get anything. but it eventually puts a end to it. if you know who bizzy bone is the singer, he went to a independant record label after ruthless records and he was going to make more money that way. but the label took his money and folded before they paid him. so he never really got his money and had to sue and only got a fraction of what he was suppose to get. insane clown posse did a smart tactic, they made a side project cd that used all old beats they liked and it was all stolen beats. what they did was create it under a seperate record company that only put that cd out, so if anyone sued them nobody would get anything from them lol they would just fold the company because it was just the 2 of them that owned it.

i had all my cd cases stolen at one point and lost close to 50 cds i still have empty cases haha. luckily though for my manson and nin stuff i always kept those in the jewel cases at home and would only take one or 2 with me when i left so those never got stolen. i did have some rare nin singles though i let my dumbass friend borrow and he lost them when he moved. one was really rare it was a pink colored single i cant remember what it was i think something from pretty hate machine

theres a little bit of extra info about that cd, so looking at it to me it has all the signs of a official promo cd. but i read i think on manson wiki that it is a bootleg. so it may be a unofficial bootleg. which still is pretty rare either way as these cds were pretty expensive for their time. usually costing around $25 back in the 90s

im not much of a fan after 97, i liked the heavier spookier stuff when daisy was around. i do like zim zum ive talked to him a few times and hes nice and a great guitar player and i bought mechanical animals for my ex gf and just burned a copy of it. decent cd, but kind of soft. i liked the more heavier metal manson. there was 3 or 4 songs that i liked on hollywood which my other ex had, but i didnt like it much either. almost everything made until the end of antichrist i can lsiten to and never get sick of, everything after it turned into music mostly for a different audience imo.
