Caution: Don't be fooled this creature aren't so friendly like this in the wild, when you encounter a hippo in the wild, don't feed it, don't even let it know that you are existing. If anything it's best if you leave it's territory as much as possible. otherwise your head will have the same fate as that watermelon. Despite being fat these creatures can run at 48 km/p that's faster than usain bolt at top speed of his career. It's bite doesn't cut, it crushes bones, imagine your body in it's mouth and then it chomps and breaks your body in half. They are extremely territorial, they've been known to kill their own young when there's not enough space on their mud pools or water holes, just imagine that they are willingly to kill their young for space. That is exactly the reason why you may want to think twice before getting close with these creatures. Before taking them as pets thinking they will eventually become docile, There's actually a reported story where a man had adopted a young baby hippo, he cared and fed it throughout it's life and treated it like his own son. When it reached adulthood Guess what the hippo's wild instinct eventually kicked in and Murdered it's own owner.
