SAVE THIS if you are pregnant! But it’s also perfect for all my athletes getting back out biking and hiking. So let’s be clear - if you are a pregnant hiker or biker you will 💯want to try this stretch.

The why?
🫄During pregnancy the ligament relaxin allows joints more mobility - but what I see in a lot of pregnant clients is that the hip muscles try to tighten up to keep the body stable as the joints in the pelvis get a bit “loosey-goosey”.
🚴‍♀️When we get athletic and do activities that tax our big gluteus and lateral hip rotator muscles they just like to be stretched and loved on after. Simple as that.

For some, getting down to the ground isn’t physically accessible OR stretching from a chair means it’s easier to do in polite company (my friends are used to me sitting on the ground and stretching while we hang out, but your friends may not be ready for that yet!)
