Thank you so much for your comment. Actually, when 「は」 is used as a particle, it’s pronounced as “wa”. And in this case, konnichiwa is a greeting word means hello but for its "wa", 「は」 is correct because this 「は」 is a particle according to how the word was made. I explained quite in detail but in short, 「は」 is pronounced as “wa” in some occasions. And obviously I shouldn’t have raised this word as an example cut it would make you all confused. Feel free to ask more questions if you don’t get the picture.
