Ok, btw, just asking. I'm not a native speaker and I don't know too many words (I know as many words as a 3/4yo kid) but my mother is Japanese, one of the words that I knew in all this was homework, I remember some weirds pronunciations (it may be a regional variant of Kansai dialect, some ppl used to say shyukdai and others shikudai, but sometimes I heard, when my mother was angry, shyukudai. So, just asking if you know the right pronunciation, this thing have been triggering me for years.

Got them all, the last word i remember took me forever to learn when i studied in Japan. My vocabulary is still pretty weak so this kinda test helps remembering the words thanks :)

@@opdhaka I read and write Hiragana pretty well, Katakana takes a bit more, right now i practice Kanji and Vocabulary. I sometimes practice a bit with a friend in Japan. @@RusticRonnie I studied Japanese and Asian culture for 1 year when i lived in japan, i finished my bachelor degree in international studies half a year after i came home. i was supposed to get into Japanese language studies but there was not enough space for me so there haven't been much study after i got home, only work and communication with friends in Japan. i hope in the future to work with relation between Norway-Japan. it's been 1 year since i got home. I actually do miss living in Japan and hope to return one day.

Just finished learning and MOSTLY memorizing hiragana and I really enjoyed it!! Got lost on the extreme level because I cant read hiragana that fast yet haha. Decided I wanted to learn japanese because when I go back to japan next summer I want to be able to have a basic understanding of the language :)

じはんき(自販機) is abbreviation of じどうはんばいき(自動販売機) There is easier word, but it would be good for you to know the original form of the word (Same using in Korean)

From this video I found out that when I'm familiar with the word I can read 2~3 characters and figure out the whole word easily, more characters isn't necessarily harder, maybe the difficulty level would even make people overwhelmed no? putting it in simple terms like "2 characters ~ 8 characters" instead of Easy ~ Hard might be a good idea? I can't even do some of the "easy" ones while some "hard" ones are relatively easier to get

It’s hard to defer meaning of plain hiragana with no context, for example, the one that said き was 木 but could have also been 気, an example sentence might help some
