@lordifrit69 JIMI MADE THE !ST HEAVY METAL SONG, Metal is strongly based on blues music. the POWER CHORD, THE MINOR PROGRESSION 1-b3-4, all from blues. But u hear that alot in Black sabbath , and zepplin riffs and Thrash riffs too. The 1-b3-4 progression aka the metal progression is a play off the blues scales. Progressions are based of Scales but only used for riffs. Just like white made Basketball, we made metal, rock, and blues. Sabbath and them just made it popular.

It really doesn't matter what we think because they are living the dream..... These types of vocalists are always attacked, take bands like maiden, nevermore, queensryche and even skidrow, they all had vocalists that had voices that are bigger than the sound and style of music that they are singing to. no big deal it just adds more variety to the metal scene regardless of genre.
