Grandmaster Anthony was my teacher back in the early days of my training but at that he was a shihan...I learned a great deal from him as my teacher...and because of him I continue to still train to this day

Your story brings back memories of the time I thought my teacher, Sam McGee of Harlem Goju. I remember him doing that exact kick you describe a jumping spinning sidekick. I don’t know what state of mind I was in but I swear I saw the kick in slow motion. From the beginning of the movement to him spinning in the air which culminated with him hitting me in the face. It was the second time in the school that I was knocked out.

A friend of mine was looking to train w/him in FL but heard he moved so I cudnt answer his quest's! Sanuces is Great Art and has asked one of my Sifu why we don't see it mainstream in muvees otha than Wesley Snipes n a few otha's who most ppl wudnt kno and he mentioned tha art in it's entirety was not meant 2b shown due to tha techniques were not be watered down for tha masses! Though it will get scrutinized by who's who in MA's (and others) movie guys the effectiveness of tha Art was meant 2 counter other arts who bashed tha blending and creativeness of GM Dr Powell's own system! Plus myself being a JKD guy I've actually learn a few things I see works well n blending context! Man u guys are awesome n unless I missing sumthin as I don't kno GM-Dr.Powell's in depth study I see sum Kuta or HiKuta techniques in there! Anyway I'd like 2 read comments on this.
