Season 1 of Heroes was so amazing to watch week to week when it was originally airing. It was like a phenomenon that we were all a part of. This is back when you had to get your Netflix movies and shows on discs in the mail lol. Now a days there just isn't that giant show we all get together around the country and watch at the same time because streaming changed how we watch television and TV shows have gotten really lame in the last few years. Cough Game of Thrones Cough. It's a shame we only got one season of Heroes 🤫🤫🤫

tbh, im not sure they could have kept up the quality. even the second season was starting to get a little stale. the problem is that season one was *sooo* good. but part of what makes it so good was that it was a fairly tight story. there really weren't many loose ends, and the main storyline itself ended satisfactorily. and the journey, multiple people across the country (and around the world) all learning things independently and slowly coming together. All of it was novel, and awesome. But once that was done, it would have been impossible to truly recapture what made the first season so good. The amnesia thing in the second season was a decent idea. and it did work to an extent. but ultimately I don't think the show had a good lifespan, not if everyone expected things to live up to the first season.

Sunny Mak Yeah; when I lived in Tokyo, nobody wanted ANYTHING to do with anyone else - everyone kept to themselves. Nobody was skipping rope in public. I think the show creators were trying to create an ideal Tokyo and not 100% reflect the real one. It’s like TV show depictions of New York City - the real New York, and its people, are perpetually angry & always in a hurry. That’s not something a TV show would want to depict. 🤷🏽‍♂️
