It's actually very interesting, history tells that Okada often loses when he gets too cocky....especially in his matches with Tanahashi he mostly lost when he looked overconfident or too emotional....that wil sure play into the match, whatever the outcome is....but once again, great storytelling, it was so greatly done up until this point that it was actually hard to find a way to write a new chapter in the story...the record works greatly into this one, as Okada came in and stopped Tanahashi at eleven title defenses and no one gave him a chance and now Tanahashi comes in to stop Okada at eleven and most fans are not giving HIM a chance....everything is coming full circle and as much as Okada winning seems to be the obvious choice, this is Tanahashi we're talking about so you really, REALLY never know.

I just realized two things: 1. The only one Okada hasn't beaten in his current reign is Tanahashi. 2. The Dominion is where is his current reign started two years ago. So when he beats Tanahashi, he's not only breaking the record for title defenses against the guy who set the previous record but he'll also be a champion for two years.

Company men like Yujiro or Taichi have a better chance of winning the belt than Ibushi. Don't underestimate how high NJPW are on Jay White. He's their boy and he's already gone over Omega. Back when he joined Chaos he sowed seeds that he wanted to take on Okada eventually. I think he'll be the guy to end Okada's reign, then that brings Naito and Omega back into the title contention scene.
