Mackenzie Taylor I think Yoshinari did the storyboards and Imaishi did the animation. The timing is Imaishi for sure.

Awesome! I never knew he was somehow involved in Slayers,that's a new one for me. But it's strange you never included scenes from Re:Cutey Honey,Karekano,Diebuster or Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.I suppose that's because those are better known than these ones? Are they? Imaishi uses web animation to the same effect, see Promare, Little Witch, BNA, Kill la Kill, Luluco In fact Imaishi creates more fluid impactful works with web animation than cell animation (sans dead leaves because infinite budget 47 minute OVAs can be sylish af)

That's from the Project X-Zone opening. Studio Trigger (former Gainax staff) animated it. I WISH Trigger would animate a fighting game anime with Jin in it, that would be awesome.
