Edit: There is a fair amount of Bison cutscenes and additional lore (horse lore too) in world tour for those who are interested. It took me a good 5 minutes in the combo trial to figure out that i need to plant psycho mine first sometimes. Weird decision, since every other character like Bison (Juri, Ryu comes to mind) has his buff in the input list. Not that its a huge issue, i’m just glad my main is back

the meter use was a big part of what I saw as his limits. Those big damage combos are great, but he uses a ton of meter for moderate damage and staying on offense, which is potentially going to limit the use of massive damage combos. But, it does mean he gets a couple of gameplay styles and options for different matchups or personal preference.

@@GanguroKonata I kinda disagree, out of 23 current characters, with three more on the way for a total of 26, only 12 are from some version of SF 2; because there were nine versions of SF 2. Sure that's half the roster, but most of the 12 are "The World Warriors" and I'd say they should be staples in most street fighter games. without them is like having smash without the original 12 characters, or a decent chunk of the core characters from melee that have been around since.

I love how Capcom made bespoke animations for his "Back Fist Combo Attack" move depending on which side of the screen you are on. If they had just flipped the animation, he wouldn't be using his Pyscho power affected arm so they redid the animation.

If you play through his Master stuff in World Tour it drops some more lore AND Balrog and Vega make voiced cameos in picture cutscenes...you even get a replica Vega mask for you CAC and it kinda seems like Vega and Balrog may be future DLC based on how they talk in their cutscenes. Going by what he says and how his stuff plays out in both Arcade and World Tour it looks like Bison's body wasn't totally destroyed in SFV and Ryu's Power of Nothingness is still working to try and destroy his current body, it's why his right arm is all screwed up and he has scars on that side of his body...exactly where he started to crack apart in SFV.

There's something weird about this Bison... the original Bison has dark hair... this one is blonde. My guess?
