I am surviving cancer everyday. Everyone around me is busy on the go living their life I’m mostly at home or church because my immune system is so low from chemo. But Satan is a liar with God I am never alone. Everyday that he spares me is time spent with him. My season of strength is in the hand of God. The Lord healed me of anorexia when I was 30 years old. It controlled me for 12 years, stealing my peace and joy. ..and my health. I had heart failure when I was 22 years old. My grandma just suffered from a massive stroke and isn’t doing good. She’s actual in ICU right now. She is a very Godly woman and this is her favorite song. I’m hoping it can bring me comfortable. Please keep her and my family in your prayers. EDIT: She went to see the Lord on June 25th, 2019. My family decided that’s what she wanted more than anything, and it wasn’t definite that she was going to get any better. It was probably the best birthday gift she could have ever gotten (her birthday was June 15th.) It has been the hardest thing to watch her pass, and I have struggled these past few days after her funeral. She was my second mother, my best friend, my healer, and my rock. This song and talking with God has helped me heal little by little. I know that she is in a better place now and I am at peace with her passing. I have learned this from a black historian that explains in his lectures about how the white skin exists as all people in whatever yrs he was speaking about were all black. Also showed in his lectures different tribes of the black race , having blonde hair naturally but the skin was black, or having blue eyes but with black skin. I actually met a fella who was our Coke Cola delivery guy he had really dark black skin but with blue eyes. U don't see that often but I knew it existed but only because again I was learning from this historian. But I asked the man anyways I said "Are those contacts you're wearing ? He said no. I was like wow that's so awesome and neat I said I've been learning about history and learning about how we all originated in Africa and everybody was black and how the white race began through them. He smiled and said yes that's correct .

In 2017 I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia)I 58 yrs old.I spent 2 months straight in the hospital and next 18 months in and out of hospital. By the way I had a tooth pulled and the pocket wouldn't heal and grew a mass removed 2x and 3rd x I demanded my oral surgeon to put me in the hospital and the next day they told me I have cancer.I never cried or accepted it, I gave it to God to handle it. It is now 2/2023 no cancer blast found in my blood.I see my cancer Dr.every 4 months. God knew it before I prayed for him take it. Keep praying and believing ,it's up to God if and when it comes back know it's in God's hands. I also have suffered from depression for 30+ years with God and proper medicine I'm managed it much better and no episodes in over 27 years. Believe in God I pray you will be healed.

I still get chills each time I listen to this arrangement with Lauren & Tonya’s vocals. I will never forgot going to see Sister Act II at the movie theater (that’s how old I am). I sat in the theater with tears streaming down my face. I didn’t leave the theater, I watched it again. When I left, I went to the record store and bought the soundtrack album & cassette tape for my car. That was 1993. I became a Lauren Hill fan for life. Three years later my daughter was born. She had a terminal illness & passed away a year later. There was only one song I wanted played at her memorial. My niece & her friend did this exact arrangement beautifully. I’m forever touched & comforted by this song, the lyrics & these two spiritually gifted artists.

My father was born in a family of 12. His mother couldn't take care of him. The woman I called my grandma raised him. At her funeral my blood grandmother sang this song. My dad leaned to me and told me the real story of my heritage . I saw my grandma buried and met my father's birth mother on the same day. We spoke and I forgave her. Asked to have this song played at my Mum’s funeral, shortly after she passed, late November 2019. Reminded me so much of her brave spirit, and was the first song that came to mind. My Dad, surprisingly, told me during our phone call, when looking at her recent internet history - selecting songs for her funeral - she was watching this video the same time I was (weeks before she, suddenly, passed away at 53). This song helps so much, reminding me of our connection, during this devastating time. RIP my “twin” Mum. My heart is truly broken. I cannot stop crying for you. We love and miss you so much. xxxxxx

This song brings tears to my eyes, It is so remarkably beautiful. It was the last song I played on the violin for my Grandfather's funeral... My Aunt was at the piano. We played it because our Family name means Sparrow in Polish - where our ancestors came from. It was a beautiful tribute to his memory, and it was a privilege to play.

@@clairethaharris6691 Clairetha, I can't say I know what you're going through but why worry when you can pray? God has brought you this far; I believe he's not brought you this far just to leave you! When He was on earth He too felt anguish when He cried to the Father for the cup to be taken away. But that wasn't His fate so the Father stayed with Him to the end and made Him triumph again in front of the devil's eyes. He'll do the same for you; just seek Him and pray without ceasing. Sometimes when God sees we're drifting He uses our stuggles to get us to pull closer to Him. So just hang in there! In the mean time, find someone to talk to. He made us with the ability to communicate; it might not be a professional, even talking to a stranger can help relieve the tension as well as give more insight at times. You're stronger than you're daring to acknowledge right now because the devil is trying to prevent you from seeing that! Just believe it- "He'll do it again for you. Just take a look at where you are now, and where you've been!... You may not know how... you may not know when, but He'll do it again!"
