Lin Rhea is another bladesmith that forges knives very similar to this style!

That's true. Lin Rhea and his X-Rhea knives were, as mentioned in the video, a big inspiration for those knives.

I assume you meant anvil, but that's a great idea! I've got a huge magnet not doing anything, that'll be way better than the clamps I'm using now!

To be fair though, the horn tends to ring more than the face.

It's a south German pattern anvil so it has a very thin waist. When you look closely you'll see that it doesn't ring when forging in the middle at all. So the setup is good. Bottom line - I don't really mind the ringing anyways as long as the blows don't feel like I'm using force because I'm having my ear protection in anyways.

@@Arthurian. and you'd think that would help with ringing? I mean I never tried it, but I doubt it. Apart from that, I don't see much reason to do it. The ringing doesn't bother me working with that anvil ;).
