I never understood why they didn’t give him more opportunities esp after AB left

He was my favorite. So talented and extremely underutilized. Steelers dropped the ball on him. He could've been an absolute STUD if they tossed him the ball more

Nah he’s done lol tbh had that good 1st season and that was it he even signed back again a few season back

The ACL cooked him in all honesty, I like the guy but there's a reason why he hasn't played in the NFL in over 5 years.

Man, I agree. Always liked him, thanks for reminding me of him. Good men deserve as many chances as I can get

I’m from Louisville and watched him all through college he was a beast and I’m a Steelers fan. He’s not the most productive by any means but he has a knack for making big time plays

They have Austin as the slot and von Jefferson plus the guy they drafted outa Michigan, all are slot wr. They need a number 2 not another slot.

It’d be very difficult for him bc he was already not the most athletic especially at the size he was at, but was always one of my favorites Steelers bc he left everything on the field

Eli was very good!! Steelers have Quez and Calvin Austin!!

The only former wr that would make any difference is AB, and thats only if he can still play at a high level. Which is doubtful after being out a couple seasons

Yeah, he's debatably the best Steeler wr of all time but he's an idiot who can't go a game without being the star player or he will throw everyone under the bus to make himself feel better so there isn't much reason to take him especially if the Steelers get Tyler Boyd who is a more calm individual who can fit into their locker room @@peterjones8858

I mean im a Steelers fan and liked eli but tge most underrated wr of the 2010s is a stretch. Tough ti sign a 31 year old XFL guy too but they could at least bring him in for a workout. I still think it makes sende to put feelers out for juju. Dude is still only 27
@tati-anaroseee4316Ай бұрын
Juju wouldn't fit the Steelers scheme very well because he's slow and not the best route runner lol, he was my favorite when he was on the Steelers but watching him now he almost never had separation

@@tati-anaroseee4316 but he can block
@tati-anaroseee4316Ай бұрын
@@zackamig4446 yea so can our tight ends and our running backs and they do it better than juju lol.
@zackamig4446Ай бұрын
@@tati-anaroseee4316 yup and you still need a wide receiver that can block. It was Allen Robinson last year who is it going to be this year? Look at the niners they have ray ray McCloud play like 80% of the snaps and he is almost always a blocker. That's with the league's best blocking tight end and best fullback. You thinking running backs and tight ends have the same blocking assignments as receivers shows me how much you know about football
@tati-anaroseee4316Ай бұрын
@@zackamig4446 okay smarty pants, how is juju going to block for a group of wide receivers that are significantly faster than him if he can't stay ahead 😂 juju is slow, even slower now than he was bc of knee injuries. He's literally slower than some of our o-line. The only time his blocking was every useful was in short yardage situations and quite frankly I've had enough 3 yard plays from the Steelers for a lifetime.
