At least he doesnt look like a knock off Kirito AND, if we’re talking mary sue,doesn’t have a damn “smartphone in another world” that does everything for him while getting the ladies with 0 effort. Still “Smartphone in Another World” is my pick for the worst isekai story and character, no new seasons of isekai anime will change that for me. What other isekai garbage came out this season? Aside from ReMonster and Archmage’s Elf Bride I’ve been rewatching old shit like Drifter (cool ass isekai wish it continued) and 1998 Trigun to pass the time.

Isekai is pure fiction And because the mc is overpowerd , it gives a sensation of satisfaction among PEople . I also agree that isekai smartphone is bad but that doesnt mean the genre is shit . And , are you blind or you didnt pay attention ? Archdemon’s dilhemia is not an isekai . Its a fantasy Romance anime . If you call THIS isekai then naruto , one piece , aot , bleach all are isekai . You can call them shit too .
