I do not get anime heroes who do not want to get with anybody. But got so many ppl who just want to be with him. Have a happy middle. This series to me is one of the best isekai out there that give a good reason to be an isekai. Most just bring a person from another world and make it an isekai. At least there lore that connect to earth that he need to finger out. Like the his family question. This is one of the few series that making it an isekai is important and not a lazy method to havea hero who know more.

i mean do remember hes like 16 many 16 year old guys would act similarly like this for many reasons or just men in general there could be someone who genuinely wants you and make it quite clear but men have a tendency to not notice or downplay themselves or feel like it isnt in the cards or they arent ready makoto would be the feel like he isnt ready category the incident with the girl who liked him may also be a factor

I think it's mostly because most anime heroes are usually social outcast who were bullied, so don't really think that people would be interested in them, no matter how much they throw themselves at them. Also, some of us aren't fully interested in relationships or just keep that interest locked up tighter than Fort Knox

I was looking forward to this episode, because NOTHING has happened ALL season... and then NOTHING happens at all this episode. I was expecting him to one shot all the monsters and make the demon chick regret lying to him, but he just shoots some small fry and the show focuses on the students. There's so much damn focus on the side characters, who ultimately won't ever matter. I'm pretty sure the same thing as season 1 will happen, where the only good fight happens in the finale, which is disappointing, because otherwise this show is great.
