The ref basically saved him from further unnecessary injuries, most people with maxed out adrenaline won't realize the damages that happens until after the fight so hats off to ref for nice stop. But goddamn the one pulling the chair 😂 Edit: I actually had this exact injury before during my Taekwondo tournament back in 2017, I did a jump kick and landed poorly and couldn't stand, the ref told me to keep continuing or else I lost. I ended up fighting for another 3 rounds and until now I have permanent numbness on the edge of my toes.
