So many people know this dude from different ways. I met him when she was underage, sneaking into clubs to play with improv hip hop and jazz shit. He was always just blowing minds. Then he was more subtle about his country-shredding abilities and he'd throw it in here and there and then like he just wails one day, and he sings really great and writes really smooth shit. He doesn't hate anything about being country adjacent but the dude plays a seamless ocean of styles, with a psychedic flourish. He makes deep shit you can get pregnant too and he'll like be barn burning at night and roll into some dope black gospel church band the next day. He can back up anything and not make it about him and then you want to give him moments to shine. He's not shitty to women or a secret asshole. I love the dude. Hell yeah, he blew your mind! That's what's psychedelic about it. It feels like your ears can't believe what's going on.
