It really bothers me when I see muslims hiding their identity, picking western sounding names and trying hide wearing their cultural dress or religious dress. Wearing short sleeves, shirts and jogging bottoms, even elderly mothers and grandmothers wearing west clothes and sleeveless...even their behaviour adopting western outlook and terms...like dating and datenight. I remember I saw a video in UK of old racist man arguing with young pakistani youth, being racist saying go back home to him even though it was clear he bought up in uk. The old man smirked and said we conquered you...the boy goes no you have not...he laughs and says look at your clothing (hinting at western clothing the boy was wearing) so he was suggesting his western clothes meant that he mind was conquered and in him adopting western clothes, he had chosen their western way was superior to their Islamic way...that annoyed me to the core. Its nothing wrong wearing western clothes but make sure its not all the time and do not imitate western behaviour as general rule. Be proud to be muslim.
