Helping your wife with household chores is a neglected sunnah. Any man that sees it beneath him or is too arrogant to help his wife around the house is acting against the sunnah and is guilty of chauvinistic behavior. In fact, majority of Muslim scholars are of the opinion that serving one’s husband is not compulsory on a wife. Remember Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to help his wives around the house even after a full day’s work.

Farting isn't about Respect, it's about Comfort. If a person is comfortable around someone, they can fart, and not feel embarrassed or judged. It doesn't mean the other person is not respected, if anything it shows you're comfortable and in your space even when you're with the other person. All that being said, it's best not to fart with others around - IF it can be avoided.

But I would also have proper n respectful conversation us BOTH to compromise when I don’t have a much control over it like when I’m having an upset stomach or very gassy from lunch/dinner/while on periods. This is a very VERY small issue in a relationship if you really love n respect each other n have proper conversation. Bringing up divorce because of so trivial as this is not funny if your serious about your relationship. I had conversation with my sibling about this topic so I can get more opinions on it n they feel like farting is as normal as a women having periods a natural thing so it depends on what you view is more important to you both in relationship n make compromise for each other.

Also, I believe women think different when it comes to this because naturally we wouldn't do it in front of anyone - including our husbands.

Men who eat proper food should always excuse themselves when passing wind in the bathroom or somewhere out in nature (back garden). I say this as a man who eats 6 meals a day. Scary how mortgages have become so normalised in the Muslim community. May Allah guide us all. Just a friendly reminder that all kinds of interest loans and payments are a very big sin in Islam.

I am not a Muslim. If loans are not allowed then how would anyone ever be able to buy a car, house, etc.? Just asking out of curiosity. ☺️
