I have had 2 incurable diseases for 35 years, the Lord has intervened over 20 times to save my life--my Drs. say there is no medical reason that I am alive. He allowed me to raise my 2 boys-my husband could not handle the illnesses and we divorced. Thank God for Godly parents-they were always there!! Now they are with our Lord. Now I am 59 and at this time home bound. I was an RN before I became disabled. Then did Christian counseling----now i try to pray for the needs in my Church---but there are so many days that I wonder why He stills has me here. the pain and the many other things that my diseases cause--I know His strength is perfect, and I must submit and trust Him---sometimes it is hour by hour. I love Him so much--He is my reason for going on.

Mu cousin just lost his son while vacationing in Puerto Rico before he is deployed. He is a Navy seal. He was shot and killed last week. Just turned 30 last Friday. 😢 I sent him this song just now. This song is really significant. I remember hearing it for the first time with my mom when I was a little girl. In 2022 my mom passed away in March. A few months later, my grandmother, her mom passed away in December. It is God's strength that is getting me and my family through this hard time. And I'm reminded that we have to lean on God through whatever circumstance we're going through. We absolutely can not make it on our own. God's strength is perfect!

By our self destruction, not only do we communicate to those we love that their love for us was not enough to be important to us, but that God himself is not to be thanked for just another day here, among those who really do care for us. There is a great divide in our American culture. Between those who are satisfied with life, and those who are not. Sadly, there are not enough in the middle ground to go around. On March the eighth , at about 3;30 PM, I found my step dad and closest freind of fifty years dead on his kitchen floor. I always thought I was pretty tough, but this one has shown me otherwise. There is nothing so unnerving as reaching down to wake someone, shake them, and realize that they won't be waking up ever again. This is I hope, the hardest thing I will be asked to endure. It could not get any sadder than this.

This song hits him differently after the death of his sweet daughter Maria. Here's an interesting story about that. You know how you meet an "angel" and not realize it until later? Well that happened in my family. You see, the night that SCC's daughter died she was airlifted to the children's hospital at Vanderbilt. One of the doctors that was with her was my very own brother who was on a 3 year fellowship there with the Navy.
