It has been over 30 years ago now. I was asked by my youth pastor to help a young man set up his PA for a Wednesday night concert for our youth. He was driving a beat up od car and had the PA stuck in the trunk. We set him up and as a thankyou, he gave me one of his cassettes. It was blue and had a hand typed lable on it. It was Steven Curtis Chapman and this song was on it. Since then it has followed me and been there in good times and bad. Yes, my Redeemer IS faithful and true. Thanks

I gave the address at my daughter's chapel service. She was 15 and killed by a drunk driver. Though broken we carried on knowing that though we couldn't understand her death, especially after waiting 14 years for children doctors said we'd never have, Jesus will meet us on the other side. He is faithful and true. Only believe.

Your lives are now going a different direction than before - but just know that no matter which direction your lives ever go, Jesus is there waiting to scoop you all up and carry you. He knows your pain while you’re feeling it, He laments with you, and He will hold you up. Only believe, and He will protect you. He understands! I believe there is great comfort in that, even when we don’t have all of the answers.

Yes, my Redeemer is so so so Faithful and true---the only One who knows everything about you and still loves you---oh, the power of His grace---I would not be here today if not for His faithfulness and grace. I have 2 incurable diseases have for 35 years--they are treatable, but the treatments are about as bad as the diseases--God has directly intervened at least 20 times to save my life--if that is not faithfulness-I don't know what is.--He allowed me to raise my 2 boys, survived a divorce and custody battle and now I have 3 grandchildren--the youngest one 2 1/2 weeks old. Haven't held him yet because I had the regular flu, but this weekend I will. Praise the lord at all times---good and bad for He alone is faithful!

Oh the many times this has been true in my life. He saved me from almost drowning, kept me from being shot two different times; He got me through two major heart attacks 18 years apart - both resulted in open heart surgery- which He also brought me through. As I think of it there are many others. There are probably some I don’t even know about. When he said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, he meant it. John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.” Thank you for posting this wonderful song. ❤

A drunk driver took the life of my beautiful 15 year old daughter Joanna. I performed the chapel service to a standing room only congregation. Now my beautiful wife Miss Martha as I call her, of 56 years was called home by her Creator. As always I praise Jesus the creator who is faithful and true.

Wow the Truth that is in this song is so right on point. My momma who recently passed away at 81 years young. I had the privilege of meeting Steven and His wife on a cruise several years ago. He is a good guy and just humble and good hearted. Despite the pain of my recent loss this song tells the truth that he is GOOD Faithful and TRUE. Love this song.

Steven is right that losing a child is "unfixable." All you can do is bring the situation to the foot of the cross and give them to the Lord. Even after years the pain is still as sharp as if it had happened yesterday. You simply learn not to go there. I trust Jesus, one day there will be a joyful reunion. Until then I'll be doing my chores. God is Good, all the time. He is the ultimate recompense, the ultimate comfort. My Redeemer is Faithful and True.
