The reason I'm not as iffy about Supports getting Strike or Tech is that it makes it not a complete waste to plop them on Rally. Not always you can even include a tank on your team, so these kinda help flexing those stages.

also his B-move has pretty high BP so I think he can do okay dmg and he has Vigilance in his grid if you want to run Crit Strike 2

I think the other Berry user you're thinking about is Jacq. Though Farigiraf is more of an offensive unit, consuming the berry to set himself up.
