While I usually preferred to listen to man on the internet’s version this one is also just as good Man on the internets version conveys Asriel’s frustration and frisk’s determination to save everyone While this version conveys asriel’s sadness, uncertainty, frustration and his memories to certainty that frisk will do what is right and complete their goal this version conveys something a message that to me man on the internets version also does : Not everyone can be saved nor is capable of being saved and sometimes you can’t undo what has already been done. Both this version and man on the internets are equally as good im glad to have listened and stumbled upon this great cover

I haven't played undertale myself, and don't really plan on playing it unfortunately, but I kinda understood what the lore was, but I never knew what Asriel's fate was, until I watched this video. And now that I have seen it, I feel so sorry for poor Asriel, he had been through so much pain and suffering...and now I can truly listen to this song and understand why Asriel says he is sorry, why he thinks he doesn't deserve mercy, and why he feels alone. Yet in the end, it took a child who looked like his friend from the past to bring him out of that side of sadness, of empty emotions, of pain. To change him back into his old self again and finally find peace.
