I had a similar story to that when I was a kid I spoke to one lady who was dead for more than 7 years. I am Jamaican and was going to the farm which was about 4 miles from my house. On this particular day I was going there with a friend to work but he had gone a head of me and this was the first time going to this particular farm in my village where I grew up. So, as fast as I ran to catch up my friend I just didn’t. After running for about 4 miles through this area with nothing but a forest on both sides of this all dirt road, I came around a corner to find this beautiful little house, nice curtains in the windows n well furnished with a little old lady outside the front of the yard near the road side sweeping up the leaves. I said good morning to her ad asked if she see my friend passed by, and she politely said, yes I did, he not too long passed ahead of you so, I asked her for direction bc it was my first time going to that farm and she graciously gave me precise instructions. I thanked her and was about to sprint off, but she interrupted me to ask who I was related to from the other side of the village so, I told her my family name, the name of my great grand father. Then she responded with a fondness of how much she knew him and my whole family. She also complemented me by saying that I was very respectful with good manners. Then I thanked her again, and off I went. When I finally got to the farm an was telling my friend how hard I ran to catch up with him and how if it wasn’t for the lady who gave me directions, that I wouldn’t have found the farm, he laughed ad said…… ohh! granny showed herself to you, ha ha ha laughing at me. Well I was puzzled. So he said, don’t worry, you will see when we’re on our way home…… bc I was doing n saying everything to convince him about the house n the old lady in the yard that I evidently spoke with. Well we worked all day till it was tile to go back home and boy was I convinced that I was gonna prove to him that the lady and the house is real… Here is the SHOCKER!!! As we came around the corner where the house that I saw was, I was telling him THERE IT IS!! THERE IT IS!! ahhhhh…. there it ……. there i ….. I began to get scared as i stared in awe n shock that there was no house like I had seen earlier, except for a little run down n worn out piece of an old house with trees growing inside and bush all over the yard. Then my friend spoke an said, she does that most people passing this way for their first time.. I had to go back to that farm several times an on every occasion I paused and wonder about my experience. Till this day, it’s so vivid in my memory. Plus back then we had no hand held cell phone camera or go pro….. lol I am 57 now, it happened when I was 13 yo.

This kind of happened to me at a camp I used to go too. There were stories of a troll by the well. I decided to run to the pond on the well road once and thought I saw Farmer Sam, a farm worker, picking berries, then he went into the woods off thevtrail. So, when I got to the spot where I saw him, he had vanished! I even called out to him. Later that day, I realized I actually hadn't seen him working around camp that week and when I asked somebody, they said he had passed away a week prior. One of a few things that freaked me out at that camp! Unexplainable!

Okay, now, I have a story for you and it’s true. My Grandfather died of a aneurysm while visiting us on our waterfront property on Choctawhatchee Bay in Florida. I was a year old at the time and my Grandfather and Grandmother were coming down from Milwaukee to see me. Fredrick wishes were to have his ashes spread on our waterfront property because he loved it so much there. Well, one night when I was 10 I heard someone outside my bedroom window around 1:00am. I looked out the window and saw an older man standing there and he looked at me. I wasn’t scared. I thought, well, it must be my Dad. The next morning I ask my Dad why he was outside at 1:00am. last night and he said, I wasn’t outside last night I was asleep! I’d had other strange occurrences so I knew at that moment that it was my Grandfather’s spirit outside my window that night. He was always around me and I finally figured it out. I was never scared of the strange occurrences that happened on our property because I knew it was my Grandfather. I still own part of our land. ☺️

What a great experience you had with that old man. His spirit has probably been watching over you and your wife and property from the other side. I had a similar experience in Maine back in the 80's. Me and my ex were looking for land and saw a for sale sign. We pulled up to an old farmhouse. As soon as we parked a lady came walking towards us from around the house. She was delighted to show us the property, took us down to the lake, showed us the cabin there, told us about her run-in with a bear when out picking blueberries when she was a girl. Then she walked with us back to our car. We both turned away, turned back and she was gone. Completely vanished. Creepiest experience I have ever had.

But, I have seen so many things that can’t be explained. 1 Thessalonians 5:23…May your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless for the coming of the lord. Scripture shows a difference between the spirit and soul. I’m a veteran, I flatlined once. I faded away into a sleep without thought. Like Christ say,” the dead can not here you, they are asleep.” But, what about the unbeliever, those who’s blessings don’t come from God? I know mine, and mine know me! It’s a forest, you have the elementals. Revelations speaks of the elementals. Remember scripture tells us to test the spirits… why?

Also around our animals and walking around the outside of our home. Thankfully he was not aggressive.

My husband's family insists that if a ghost pulls on your toes when you are asleep, they are trying to get you to follow them to money that is buried! This family has seen all kinds of weird things! My family was not into this but this family was! At the ranch next door a worker was sleeping in the Jockey quarters (it used to be a quarter horse ranch) and he was the only one around. He felt someone pull his feet at night! He left and never came back! At that ranch since we moved to this area 35 years ago. I would be woken up at night by a herd of horses running back and forth at that ranch! I thought their horses had gotten loose, the next morning I saw a lady that worked there and asked her if their horses had gotten loose she said "No". I don't know why I heard that but 2 other men that lived on that ranch also heard the herd of horses running back and forth. The area used to belong to Native Americans of the past. Another man that lived at the ranch told me that he heard the herd of horses running around and he thought he was going nuts! It's been a few years since I heard the horses and it hasn't happened for awhile now. It's just weird when it happens. At least I know I'm wasn't alone in hearing this!

I grew up in the country, lived out in the woods till I was in 7th grade. Me, my brother and friends would always be out in the forest by ourselves, nothing but forest and pastures for miles in all directions out in Oregon on the steps of Mt. Hood Wilderness area. I had no fear as a child and neither did any of us. There is no boogie monster in the forest that I could tell. I was a small child roaming the forest, I had my bow and arrow and pellet gun if I wanted to take them but usually never did. There were mountain lions and black bear in the area but I never saw one, they hide from humans, even kids most the time. When you live out in the boonies like I did you learn the land, aren't scared of it because you are part of the forest and would know if a Bigfoot was in the area. When your in the forest learn to listen to your environment and learn to interpret the sounds, for example listen to the birds. They talk to each other and if anything dangerous is in the area or suspicious they will chirp about it. The birds in this video made no alarming chirping noises when he was talking like a Bigfoot was looking at him. I'm not saying for sure there is no bigfoot it's just I've never had any real evidence proofing the existence.

Hi Kevin, you have nothing to be afraid of he obviously meant you no harm just needed some company if you kept your part of the bargain and left him half the wood it's all good. That gentleman who was the relative would be a useful person to hear stories from that might explain some of your experiences or corroborate them. I did see something moving behind you at 8.46 for a few seconds way back in the distance and saw the figure that you pointed out also heard something being thrown when you did. I kind of had a notion that from the very beginning of your video the hermit was a benign spirit person felt it in my bones as soon as you started saying about him being on your porch. The jaw bone is definitely a thank you gift neatly wrapped too. I think that for some reason the "other" whatever and who ever that is that live on and around your land see you as a benign person meaning no harm and are willing to interact with you as you respect them and their land and are a man of your word. Fear is a natural response but the relative made it clear the hermit likes company and has been seen and talked to by others so not a isolated experience. I am happy that you were respectful to him and generous enough of spirit to help a soul in need out even if that need was company not firewood. I think he was happy that you were helping, maybe dispatching the fox was one way of repaying a kindness by whom ever did so. He was also letting you know that the Bigfoot are there too. Walk gently in the world today. Thanks for sharing and being respectful there isn't enough of that in the world. Dx

Hello Kevin ... adding my 2 cents ;-) The old man made a deal with you and you did your part. Your intuition is keen and you were not afraid of him when you spoke. What has changed? @@Scoopski_Potato ... NUTSHELL!! Kevin was visited by the ghost of an adjacent property owner who made a deal with him to clean up some fallen trees in his property. They would share the wood. Later Keven found out the man had been dead for a while. The moral of the story is strange things are happening on Kevin's property. A lot of speculation to what is going on but no one really knows. I'm sure Les Stroud would be excited to know he had the ability to influence your imagination. That always excites Hollywood. Here's an interesting phenomena. According to another ancient lore; throughout history all the witches warlocks and magicians use the wood of a certain tree to make their wands and staffs; this is the holly tree. So what type of wood is that??????? Okay, I'll help you out: Hollywood. What is magic, simply the ability to create illusion in your imagination. Les Stroud did Hollywood proud! Just another character on the masses lol and you bought it.

When I was younger, bout 13 years old, a tree fell in my family's yard. It was a pretty big tree. It fell out of nowhere, without warning. It turned out that ants were eating at it from the inside out. Anyways, we had a shed where some kittens lived, and it fell right infront of it. My family and I fed them everyday. One day after the tree fell, I was told to go feed the kittens. I got the food and made my way but as I got about 10 feet of the tree, I stopped, instinctively, and I got chills all over my body. I felt a sense of panic. I ran back to the house and told my mom that I couldn't feed them because I just couldn't go near the tree. I bring this up because watching this video reminded me of that memory, and had me thinking, what the heck happened to me in my past life to make me so scared of down trees? But also what if I just felt that because there was a spirit attached to the tree or area... And the down tree made it so that the spirit was a bit more powerful...?

Now I'm in or is it I have? either way there's a conundrum. Since almost all of your videos make me laugh .... a lot. So I am left thinking that this is the kind of content you are producing. A comical light side of the Sasquatch ancient people stories and old hermits and the like. I love what forested areas do for us all in the way that it holds many secrets. So my conundrum is, Do I take you seriously about the old hermit story you just told in a wonderful and comedic way? or do I believe you and just think that this is your unique way of telling us the stories of truths?!?! Please let me know if this is a true story? I really do love your videos and when I see one that has been posted. I so very much look forward to what you have instored for us, in your new video & watch it immediately! Regardless if I have something pressing, like dinner cooking on the stove, that can wait. Well I hope smart Americans think like you do! The anti crayon crowd thinks if we are required to sell our "Black" crayons back they will collect them all. But the people with common sense know that criminals won't sell their's back

We lived deep in the mountains of Tennessee. One things started happening. Grandma's jam a few quarts gone out of the seller. Next the empty jars would be on the porch. Biscuits and food pies would leave the kitchen cause we always left the door open cause it was hot in the summer. Then one day grandpa's overalls and socks and shirt was gone off the clothes line. Well didn't sit right with grandpaw . He got his shot gun out and went hunting for this stealer. Roamed all over the mountains couldn't find anything. So he had grandma sit out some food by the kitchen door, just after super we went outside. Grandpaw climb a tree with his gun. Come to find out it was a old moonshiner . That wasn't seen in year's. He went crazy on a batch he made . Grandpa followed him he was living in a old cave. Crazy as bat shit. Grandpa told him don't steal no more next time I'll kill ya. Ya ask for what you take. So grandma for year's left food and clothes and blankets in a spot for him. A few year's went on and he stopped showing up. We only seen him a few times looked like a wild man. Grandpa went to the cave and found him dead. Call the sheriff to come and get him. Sure was a mystery for awhile.
