@k.c1126 yk not everyone wants to get back at their ex, right? She’s also better off than she would be in that relationship, cause for some reason he didn’t and probably wouldn’t lose that weight if she stayed. So she may be seen as the bad guy here but at the end, it was a right thing to do, cause it created a win-win situation.

AND YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT SHE IS FUMING TOO , HE FOUND A YOUNGER WIFE , BUT IT SAYS THAT SHE COULDNT BRING THE BEST OUT OF HIM WHILE WITH HIM. SO SHE LACKED AS WELL , AND HE EVIDENTLY WAS A LOYAL HUSBAND AS WELL SO HE HAD GREAT CHARACTETISTICS ,BUT EX SOUNDED A BIT MATERIALISTIC , SO WHAT HE WAS PARTIALLY BALD , HE WAS THERE AND MOST LIJELY DOING EVERYTHING THAT HE COULD BUT SHE DEVALUED THOSE THINGS .HE WAS ALWAYS THE WINNER ,THE EX WAS THE LOSER , INFACT SOMEONE LOCATE HER ( THE EX ) AND SEE HER STATUS NOW.

This is why women have to have high standards. Otherwise being accepting and loving will become a limiter, will be seen as such and most likely 100% of the blame for man’s weakness will land on that type of woman. If anything, it shows her that she did the right thing for both of them. Some people just can't get over themselves without a big change in life that gives them a shock to their whole system. Disagree. He let himself go beyond the point he even hated himself. I'm sure wife begged him to improve himself but he wasn't willing to do ANYTHING. Only after wife finally had enough and left him he found the motivation to spite her. Do you think his new wife will stay with him if he was like before? Absolutely no. That's why he's maintaining his physique, he learned that lesson the hard way

Did you just assume this? They were married for 13 years. I highly doubt that all these issues were non existent for 12 years, and she left the moment they appeared. For all we know she could've spent years trying to encourage him to change, only leaving after she tried everything she could. You don't know this, neither do I, yet you are quick to jump to conclusions

Stop projecting. They were married for 13 years, way past college age. He was most likely dumpy when she met and fall in love with him, its highly likey she left vecause he couldn't stop feeling sorry for himself.

the thing is that we don't know what their relationship was like, what her side of the story was. We only know what is presented in this short and from whatever further research we do. But we will never know the full story so it isn't right to judge the wife based on such limited info.

It sucks his wife left him for such shallow reasons, but it sucks just as much that it took getting divorced to motivate him to change. It would have been nice if he cared while he was still married.

I think she left him for a lot of other reasons too. Man had no motivation, so imagine the misery the wife must've endured. I find lazy men with no motivation repulsive

She did the right thing for herself. We don’t know what their marriage was like and how hard it must have been for her, that in a divorce shame country she chose to leave him.

Feminism had to get banned in China because of how quickly it turned their culture into ours. There’s a 50/50 chance it was just her being shallow

Yes, and if a man leaves his wife for getting fat or showing signs of aging, then that must be what’s best for him too, right?

Really? I suppose married men should look at hotter women and pressure their wives to be as hot as possible at all times too. Otherwise they should leave. Funny how no one seems to support this train of thought.

KZbin deleted my previous comment. But basically, that wasn’t a thing for a brief period of time. Eventually they had to “China” it up to end feminism there (the worst part is the Chinese have an argument for doing so)

His wife leaving him was blessing in disguise. She can't have loved him that much. If I'm in love, i don't change how I feel just because my partner puts on weight or is less conventionally attractive.

We don’t know that. Don’t judge her. Maybe she wasn’t sexually attracted to him anymore. Things can happen… we only know his point of the story. Also it’s good she walked away instead of staying in a not happy relationship anymore. I’m sure it worked out for both of them.
