The RM 11.80 is the best boat I have sailed so far. It combines very sporty sailing with a lot of comfort. I can well imagine doing the transatlantic with this boat. Unfortunately, I don't own a boat, but if I were to buy one, the RM 11.80 would be on the shortlist.

RM1180 is a very nice boat, and it's great to say a very experienced sailor enjoying it so much. I have some reserve about the longevity of RMs, bit I guess Olivier knows what he's doing!

Hi Jessica, Dit was weer een leuke show op de RM 1180 een nieuwe boot zo te zien met in ieder geval een opvallende kleur eigenlijk best wel gaaf is eens wat anders dan de kleur wit of blauw wat je veel ziet met diverse zeilen en een ruime indeling van binnen uit gezien. Zo te zien hebben jullie nu ook de oversteek gemaakt is het mee gevallen of viel het wat tegen? nogmaals bedankt voor deze show en hopelijk weer tot gauw 👍👍👍👍

Hi Jessica wat een leuk interview. Zelf gaan wij ook met een RM 1180 zeilen vanuit Lorient. ... Ik ben zeer benieuwd!! ben het ook eens met de eigenaar zo min mogelijk apparatuur buiten te hebben. Wat voor bevestiging systeem gebruikte hij voor zijn iPad?

Prachtig jacht. Wij twijfelen nog tussen een OVNI370 of een RM1180. RM1180: makkelijker te repareren, houtwerk, polyester en epoxy. Sneller. OVNI: veilig gevoel, dik, stevig, centre board. Alleen relatief langzaam en met weinig wind wordt het veel motoren. Alu lastiger te repareren. Iemand ideeen? :)

Hahaha je moet er maar van houden. Blijkbaar houd hij van zijn vrouw en van zijn boot. En eigenlijk past het best bij deze boot en bij de kapitein. Persoonlijk vindt ik de boot iets te spartaans. maar hij heeft wel een punt als het gaat om apperatuur buiten. En alles wat je NIET hebt gaat ook niet stuk. Hoe dan ook, deze boot zou voor jullie familie life, on geschikt zijn. Ik zag een mooie ketch er naast liggen. Een CIM 88 Dat is een frans product voor relaxed sailing.... hahaha

Ik moet zeggen dat ik erg onder de indruk was van de boot. Van binnen is hij erg ruim opgezet én heerlijk licht met veel ramen. Dat is iets wat ik in onze boot wel echt mis. Natuurlijk wel minder bergruimte, maar je moet ook geen lichte raceboot willen om hem daarna helemaal vol te laden. Misschien als de kids het huis/de boot uit zijn. 🤷‍♀️

Who cares about the color? Awesome boat.. I just hope the owner find out the difference between Tahiti and Haiti before setting up his waypoints. He might end up in the other side of the world 😬
