Hisense Gorenje and Asko at IFA 2024 (Innovation For All!)

Welcome to the seventh part of the IFA series and by far my most memorable part of it with Hisense, Gorenje and most importantly Asko!
A lot of very cool stuff was showcased from all 3 brands.
Hisense have a whole new stupidly interactive range of machines coming to the market called Hisense infinite series with a whole bunch of features as expected.
Then with gorenje it felt a bit weird to me seeing Hisense built machines with the gorenje badge on them with me being from the uk as we only get proper gorenje machines branded as Hisense now. Very happy to see they have reintroduced their jet system to their laundry range. Found it a bit strange that they were kind of doing away with it in recent times.
Then Gorenje also had a really cool new retro range off appliances designed like they were from the 1950’s in a range of fancy old style of colours
Finally of course my goodness my fav Asko 🥹 new range of machines coming next year and also got to see my Asko style set in white which was really cool to look at in person (I tried opening the dryer door the wrong way at first because mine opens from the other side to the one on display 🙈) I also got to see their professional laundry appliances at their booth too which again very cool and lucky to see in person.
The whole Asko team were amazing too and it was so nice to speak to 5 of the design/software programming members from the team. By the end of IFA I think the majority of the team knew about me and my fascination with laundry appliances and that was honestly just so cool to me. I have a community post that I put up about it all while I was in Berlin. The cherry on the cake for me though absolutely had to be me finding out that Pernilla Döse (the lady I got to have a really good chat with thats the current lead designer of Asko’s laundry appliances) was one of the people to design the 2000rpm Asko Quattro W6903 Aka my dream machine I seriously still cannot get over that 😳 But yeah meeting some of the Asko team was amazing and such a blessing to experience.
