How have these newer line of Hisense UST projectors compared to their one's from 2022? Seems like the L9H is still their best Projector for the money.

Hi, I just bought mine and tried 128gb usb to watch 30gb UHD movie, but the projector doesn't even see that there is a USB plugged in. Any ideas what the problem could be? It says in manual that both fat32 and ntfs formats are supported...so not sure why it's not seeing it.

These days "no 3D support" makes it a deal breaker for me. There's too much competition out there in the UST space right now that I don't have to settle for a device that doesn't support 3D. Ultimea Thor, Nexigo Aurora Pro, AWOL Vision 3500 Pro, the list goes on with USTs that have 3D support. Great video @Shane Lee! Thumbs up from me for this one!

Way of Water was released in 3D in theaters. The Marvels, many other movies go to theaters in 3D. The difference is with a UST you are not trying to watch 3D on a teeny 90" television. 120" 3D movie is a WAY BETTER experience than a 90" 3D movie experience and Modern Projectors with better image quality and brightness than before are making it more of the norm. I do know of a lot of friends that suffer from motion sickness though. Unfortunately, they can never watch anything in 3D or enjoy Virtual Reality. @@oblivion_007

@@TriMuXx and it was horrible. My eyes were killing me when watching it on 3D in the theaters. Like @oblivion_007 said… I believe 3D is only for kids and overrated in 2023. I had a much better experience watching Avatar 2 on my QD OLED SONY A95K.

See, there are people out there that just can't handle it. It's too much for them and that's understood. Not everyone is the same. Chances are the screen or glasses weren't calibrated though. @@Xstream718

3D still has a place in home theaters and the right theater with bright laser projectors. There’s a great one here in Vegas with a Sony laser projector that just pops. And maybe it’s just my 20/20 video, but I have no eye strain from 3D. lol

5months later and I'm seriously considering this one as a main bedroom "television" since the pricepoint is right. This way I can put my JMGO O1 Pro in the guest bedroom and I will have all rooms setup with Projectors instead of having to drill more holes for a new mount for a new TV and run new wires, etc etc etc...I just have to stick a lightweight screen on the wall at WORST. Bye Bye Flat Panel TVs

It blows my mind that we’re still dealing with faux k in 2023. Maybe it’s a covid caused delay or something in development? Any thoughts on the timeline for true 4K to become prevalent in these more budget type projectors?

Actually, 2023 “Faux” K is indistinguishable from Native 4K and just as sharp of an image as Native 4K as well. So no need to get rid of it really.

Now that I've learned alot more about Short Throws over the past two years. There's no way for the money I'd be spending I would go for anything below 3000 Lumens and preferably one that is also Triple Laser RGB. Especially if its going to be taking the place of a 77 inch high end tv.

It had too much glare....Right there with you buddy. Flat Panel TVs have too much glare covering up the OLED deep blacks.
