Haha, finally @all things tech, you get to review a Formovie Theater! It has definitely put a lot of heavy hitters to shame in the Ultra Short Throw Projector Shootouts through the year. Glad you got to review this one. I believe the input lag is going to break the deal for me since the Nexigo Aurora Pro is REALLY close to the image quality of this Formovie Theater AND has like 15ms input lag. Thanks again for the review. This gets a "Like" from me! Keep up the projector reviews! Been enjoying everyone you make so far!

Problem for me is the black levels of most projectors. I have a benq but I'm making a garden theater room just now and I'll probably have to go for a JVC with less gamut and brightness to get good blacks for horror and sci fi movies.

@@niro750 Well, check out this ForMovie Theater first..especially with Dolby Vision content. Otherwise, the Nexigo Aurora Pro has some really good black levels as well. I think we are going to start to see a LOT more USTs with really good black levels start to come out soon. People never thought they could get this good and here we are.

​@@niro750You should try the Nexigo Aurora Pro before you do the JVC. Supposedly even better than the Formovie in contrast and blacks and it has Dolby Vision. Yes not like a JVC, but I bet it would do amazing in dark scenes still.

No one can. It needs calibrated to your screen. Also tolerances from machine to machine components vary so someone else's settings will not be correct. You need calibrated instruments to calibrate a device.

well, you only have one problem there and that is the picture got significantly worse when you raised up your floor rising screen, the detail was lost. The picture became fuzzy and muddy. Yes it's colorful but every try laser projector is colorful the AWOL vision rocks color like I've never seen before, but with the AWOL I noticed the picture stayed much clearer. Can you explain why I would like to know as I'm interested in buying one I'm still shopping at this point if the picture is going to degrade that much from a standard LED television I won't be interested in that projector for sure.

Your review when it comes to showcasing the picture quality is extremely misleading. Your camera exposure is not at all set to as to how your eyes perceive the brightness. Your camera exposure should have been dialed down to the actual brightness as seen in actual. I have this projector as well and I am happy with it but that doesn’t mean that you mislead the reality of it. The brightness and pop is no where near what is shown in this video.

Not even close. The AWOL 2500 is better than the Formovie.
