Finally got the u7k to where I am completely happy with settings

is there any advantage to HDR game mode? I have been using HDR vivid mode cause it’s brighter

I feel there is more flexibility in using hdr instead of Dolby Vision as far as picture adjustments and fine tuning. You may be losing some gaming features by using vivid. I would try using hdr game mode which puts brightness at 100 by default. But whatever looks best for you is what’s important 😀

I only have game picture mode, no HDR game picture mode

You have to turn on hdr in game settings on your console
