Great video, i just got my u7k and turned on high refresh rate but only get 60fps on my steam games on my pc. I have my pc plugged into the 144hz input. Not sure what the deal is

You praise the 900E but it’s also being used with the series X which is a superior console. Have you ever swapped consoles and tried? I just ordered a 75” U7K. Also how do you know which games are SDR and which are HDR? Great videos!

Thank you! That’s a great idea about swapping Xbox’s to see what kind of difference I notice. I think I’ll try that this week and make a video. Overall though I do think the Sony is superior despite being older and having less gaming features etc. Literally everything looks great on that lol. As far as which games are sdr and hdr have auto hdr turned off in my Xbox’s so games that are made w hdr will play with it and vice versa without.

Absolutely! For its overall great performance and that it has every gaming feature you could possibly need along with the sweet game bar you really can’t beat it. There aren’t really any others in this price range that even come close in my opinion.

So where did you get your values originally? I’m in the same boat. I just bought the TV and I’m very unhappy with it. I know it’s in the color because I’ve watched very good videos with people with great settings. I just would like to go through all of them, and correct them myself.

In the beginning I just messed around by eye mostly. Now I’m using the Rtings settings with a couple tweaks and it looks superb. Check out my mw2 walkthrough video I used those settings 🙂

@subacabra hey man I wanted to ask you a question . I have a u7k recently acquired as well as a ps5. I’ve been playing gta online and I started seeing that the color changes when I pan the camera. Not sure if it’s the game or the tv something I can change ? Sorry for the long post lol just need some help

Press the menu button on the TV remote. I have no idea what to do for ps5 but I had to open my PC graphic settings for some stuff. It's hella confusing

@@RockNlRolla if you’re Xbox, turn off Dolby Vision for gaming in Xbox settings and just use hdr. That should keep it on. If not I’ll have to mess around with mine and see what’s up. Mine always stays on

@@Subacabra cant seem to find it somehow when i change my channel on the tv it also goes from Perfect to super bright light and have to go into settings and turn on HDR tone mapping every time same as when i want to play a different ps5 game 🤦🏻‍♂️ makes me crazy

@@RockNlRolla I was thinking, there is an option in the tv menu to apply or not apply settings to all inputs. I think i have that turned off so each one can be unique. Worth a shot!

Did you checked if its supporting dolby vision gaming at 120 fps like tcl c805 in Europe or not supporting ؟

Yes, it does. I just prefer the hdr mode

It really does! I am truly impressed especially at this price point. Haven’t noticed anything buggy yet except the brightness keeps reverting to 86 in hdr I have to change it to 100.

Yes worth it. When I first got it, was not impressed and was going to return it. Once I adjusted all the levels and played around with the settings, then the TV looked amazing. Can’t be the price and no burn in.

Sharpness in game mode?

I usually always keep sharpness at 0, however I found putting it at 5 looked great with no artifacts or unnatural looks.

@@Subacabra on my U7K in game mode - picture setting HDR game. I think all the clarity options like sharpness and motion are grayed out. Pretty sure the only one I’m able to toggle is super resolution or whatever that one is called

Another question is In my 55 Inch U7k, When I open picture modes, It only shows HDR game, vivid, hdr standard, Imax i have not seen dolby vison iq modes or dolby vision game or dark mode which other youtubers have for the same tv, Please help on that as well.
