I was dead set on the Samsung Q90a last year, and waited; the Q90b was on my black friday list; but after seeing 6 videos about this television. This is an exponentially better value than the Samsung. Do you notice any color banding or artifacts in gaming mode or other modes? That's the 1 thing that might make me hold off. Best Buy honored the Labor Day sale after the fact, for me, so I got the 55” for an additional 50 or so of the price you mentioned. The television’s legs are great by the way. Thank you for reminding me to put on HDMI enhanced from my Apple TV 4K. I forgot all about that. Here’s what I am finding. The brightness is so intense that it makes movies much brighter than they are than even in the movie theater. For movies like Jason Bourne, I had to use Cinema Mode to tone it down a bit. Other than that the pictures quality is amazing especially at this price point. I enhanced my experience with the JBL 9.1 sound bar system and I can’t get over it. It is such an upgrade. It’s not funny!

@@vdoestech So far very good. It went up reasonably easy for a large TV. It probably ran for 4 hours before I did the update. The update was a noticable improvement. Going to let it run for a week and then maybe do some of the settings I see here on youtube channels.

Brightness 🔆 setting controls d How bright d “dark Colors , like dArd red Dark green grey not d (actual how peel yr tv can be for peak bright)… “ Back light 💡 setting controls :” over all brightness of whole thing (how much can peak brightness be ) “ So if u r only adjusting d “Brightness setting , d over all brightness 🔆 projecting from back light 💡 panel is so high . It’s insane . U need to go to “BACK light 💡 “ option in d “picture setting , above ⬆️ d ‘Britness’ “ setting . -- either Dim it to like 30-45 % (depends how bright u wanna be ) ! N 1 Level down -- adjust “peek Britness” to ur liking . Then go back to previous page to adjust d “brightness “ that a actually controls d “Brightness of Dark , colourful things “ Back n forth Tweek . ----------------- Or have BackLight “set to AuTO sensor AFTER Select Yr PEAK light 💡 (it will even divide on its own wirh 560 local dimming ) -- n it will sense room 😮light to Auto bright/Dim yr TV 📺 day n night . I bought the Hisense 58" for $279 at Walmart because my Sister had one & the Speakers were out of Control! Damn Loud! I added a Sound Bar with a Sub to just blow you out! Problem - they don't last too long. The $279 58" version anyway. You'll be lucky to get 1 to 2yrs out of it before the Backlighting goes out. We've had 6 in our family & on all the Backlighting went out before 2yrs was up. If it last a year? It's worth it.

I got this exact TV when it first came out in August of 2022. I had been hearing about it and was waiting for the release of it. I found it on Amazon for $649. I am using it as a desktop computer monitor as well as for my Xbox series X. This TV has been awesome with all the specs you could hope for. Must have for new consoles with HDMI 2.1 120hz gaming. Works well as a desktop monitor also. I have my rx580 hooked up via HDMI, but only getting 60HZ 4K as there is no Display Port connect for PC. It does do "Freesync" though. This issue isn't to much of a problem as I have stopped gaming on PC pretty much due to the cost of Graphics Cards, and pretty much just use the PC for internet and things, and this TV is great for that through HDMI. So I just game on Series X Xbox now! I don't use the speakers much as I game next to the "Family" TV, and use my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 Max headset mostly! Also I have my old Computer speakers Logitech Z5500 hooked up to it, and YES I still have them, and YES they still sound AWESOME (The Z5500 Speakers)!! I do not like the feet placement on the new TV's, and have no idea why they did away with the "Center" stand! This TV is no different. To solve that now I buy a "Center Stand" for my TV's! The only thing that looks good on my u8h are KZbin 4k demos and animated movies. As soon as I switch to theatrical movies, landscape content, or sports... Picture is usually washed out, colors are off, or there is pixelation around an athletes moving head; I have to play with picture settings for each piece of content. It's bright as hell, but only impressive for limited content. I don't get how all content on a Samsung OLED phone or iPhone non oled phone look good without several profiles or settings, but these TVs are a nightmare

Go figure I get the tv. Dark scenes look good. But recently I played one movie that was like totally dark. Like a bunch of darker scenes. And it struggled. It was Don’t Breathe 2….Jesus it was dark. And there is some haloing in the corner of the tv. But other than that its super bright and beautiful.

Hey,,,,I know it’s Annoying, but its like Super easy after u do it a few times. Its one of those things ppl used to hate when they first had smart phone. Too many settings etc. it becomes fluid. I promise. I just bought one myself. So excited. Ps….aim at back light. Most ppl aim at Brightness . Back light is the one going to give u BEST experiences. It gives u OVER ALL brightness level (PEEK Brightness) i think. Then the “brightness setting” at front page, dictates the “DARK color” . So i always go to the “BACK light” to get the Over all down FIRST. Then go back to “brightness setting”. To have it up n down a few times along side KZbin 4K video(ocean , 4K Russian/ 4K anything), to set. Cuz those Drome videos moving slow but lots details helps ur eyes to adjust to the color of liking

Nah the backlight gos out on all of them within a year i have replaced mines 2yrs straight only good thing I had the protection so they replace it but it’s takes about a month to get the new one I’ve had my Sony 3d hd tv for 12yrs no problems crazy

I don't think it will last 5 years. These cheaper LED TVs all go out over time. I had a Vizio P series from 2018 that started giving me problems after 3 years and I replaced it with this U8H and I don't expect it to last more than 2-3 years.

I bought a TV model 65U8H I realized that in movie content with black stripes above the stripes how below and above you see a whitish yellowish line in Dolby Vision and it's annoying I don't know if it's normal your model looks the same? Another, when configuring and entering Google, I received an email that a certain device entered an account with the name 55U7H and well, that is not the model that I acquired. If you could help me, if it also appeared to you, I contacted a technician but I did not have lucky that they answer me when it came to dialing

Amazing ‘ Have had d previous Gen of This U8H. It runs Butter smooth ! Cuz I was mainly watching Cable TV 📺 news , reality shows . HD. U do need some tweaking to set color , brughtness. MAKE sure do NOT go up ⬆️ d “Sharpness “ setting . Cuz it can make image more pixilated leathery , rough , weird textured . Leave where it is (I heard from Professional TV calibrator , for the TV very premium , it makes image worse )

I currently have a Hisense A6H, that I have my PS5 and a vizio all in one soundbar hooked up to on earc and a dish network satellite cable receiver and of course all the built in streaming services like Netflix, prime, hbo max, and Disney plus, Apple tv and what not, but I've been saving up for a really good TV for mainly playing ps5 and watching 4k Blu rays and streaming movies on, I've narrowed it down to the 48" LG C2, the 48" Sony Bravia A90K, and the 65" Hisense U8H, which is the largest and the cheapest of the three. The Hisense is 700, the LG is 950, and the Sony is 1200, but I want the best possible TV of the three for my PS5, any suggestions out there?

dude, do it. Q95T is amazing. I got Hisense H9G/Q9G, U8G, I just got the Hisense U8H . They are sold out but in canada they are on back order. So u should check yr provider if they are on back order. (I went to store, directly ordered thru store system vs online. Online was NOT available ) . If NOT SNAT Q95T. Its the Best f best from 2020. Like if we buy a car, the MOST premium MOdel of luxury car, 2 yrs down. Its still OUT doing 99% of NEW premium modles. GET the Q95T its gem if good condition. Don’t worry about ANY OLED 2020 bad value.

@@birdtj82 Oh yes :) I have 75Q95T , I got it maybe half a year ago at a good price, $1450, to be fair its Q95TDT, it's almost the same as Q95T but these are new units produced in 2021, this is the second generation of this model, it is not with a VA panel like the original but with ADS, it may have a little more blooming, but it is insanely bright, almost OLED like view angle and I love it for that. A disadvantage is perhaps the small number of HDMI 2.1 ports. I needed a 65-inch so I might go for it again. The retailer I shop at still has it and yes its new units, they are not second hands or something.

Hey did u check OUT Hisense U7G??? Its as close as Q95TDT. Its a VA panel , and 1000 Nit brightness, and about 100 local dimming. Don’t let it get spook u about local dimming. The 2020 Samsung Q90T was 1000 nit brightness (that year Sony X900H was like 600 Nit peek 24 local dimming pathetic). and Samsung Q90T and Hisense H9G were head to head, then 2021, Hisense U7G performes VERY similar to Samsung Q80T-Q90T n and its a VA panel . I have had my 2020 H9G , 1000 nit brightness 55” and like 87 Local dimming, Pitch black, pitch pitch black. In dark room upon turn on, its like utter black. Nothing. Then a white logo pop out. Little to NO blooming. The white logo Hisense just clean white. I was confused at first cuz didnt know if TV was turned ON , but it was so confusing even tho the white logo popped on, it still looked turned off. Like u cant tell its ON lol even tho I knew its on. ITs that black. My family were like;”it doesnt even look like its turned on” lol . Its glossy screen n pitch black. It was so good. Thats why those influncers were paid by Sony n LG etc. throwing shades etc. just really lame. 2021 Hisense U8G gotten Too bright (cuz nerds r fixated on spects on paper. Company Had to make it extra bright). So 2021 Samsung QN90A n Hisense U8G both have a bit Blooming issues. But --Hisense U7G actually Performes BETTR,,,,Darker than U8G and its like SWEET Spot of Bright , n dark. It goes like Pitch Black too with almost none blooming. Like the Stop d Fomo influncer has full video about the U7G. N they pretty much used the Hisense Most premium GUTS like almost H9G/Q9G in the 2021 U7G. CHECK IT OUT before getitng that Samsung IPS panel. Once use VA i cant go back lol. Its like 3D type of visual. I have the 2021 Hisense U8G ( i checked out in store beside Samsung QN89A too). Both their 2021 paneels just pure brightness. Lol. Had to turn em down so much. The 2022 U8H and Samsung S95B i think or something I check em out again. BOTH AMAZING. Once again,,,,REALLY bright. Like d back light I would normally turn down to like 55-67% for 2020 1000nit model, n down to 55% for 2021 model, then i tried the 2022 U8G, so bright, i turned back light down to like 33-45% in store to make it look good. Yeah, check out the Hisense U7G if u can still grab one , it’s Really similar to that Samsung u are looking for. But prob half price now cuz its 2021 model. GET a VA panel, its worth it. Its literally worth it. When watch 4k content. Its 3D, Netflix n KZbin 4k (scenarios etc), discovery and action movies.

Me llevo 6 meses tener de regreso mi dinero la otra tv tuve suerte deregresarla en los primeros 30 días. Me enamoré desde la primer compra de ahí que adquirí la segunda pero viví una gran desilusión. Sigo viendo buenos revisas de esta linea pero como todo siempre hay su lado oscuro.

@@gagamania9 la primera 4k uhd de 43" las apps no descargaban los contenidos al menos en yt la pantalla siempre era verde según me dieron el respaldo en línea pero siempre fue igual la compré vía Amazon, de esta me tocó esperar mi dinero seis meses. En ese tiempo di la confianza por otra más grande y fue lo mismo la pantalla en verde o congelada. Cómo si estaba dentro de los 30 días de garantía también dentro de Amazon no utilize el servicio al cliente de hisensens pues fue la razón de hacerme esperar más del periodo de los 30 días de garantía de Amazon. He estado pensando que Amazon vende lo piorcito de las tvs, así compré una LG uq80 con full array válgame dios que error había luz por todos lados menos en la pantalla y si había no estaba en la imágen. Tengo una LG q8000 tu verás que la destrozan en los reviews pero es todo lo contrario este modelo solo la verás en Costco no le falla nada no le falta nada el sonido es premium y de la imagen no se diga. Estoy probando una Samsung q70a de 75 también de Amazon me gusta pero no me convence hasta no verle bien el desempeño el pero que le pongo es la falta de nitidez en videos comunes pues el escalado lo hace pero de manera lenta y deficiente. El sonido es regular. El HDR de la tv es bueno y al ser 120 mhz no tiene brincos en la imagen o judder. Trabaja bien con el hdmi2.0 y me da un mejor brillo y un poco mejor desempeño con un xiaomy S tv box, pues lo configure a 4k y se ve un poco mejor pero en si la pura tv con su Tizen le pongo un 8. I must say the big 3 TVs saving grace is their Oled line. At least here in Canada, Sony lowered their 55" A80j for $1498 which is good. The only thing that sold me to Sony is their upscaling chip its excellent with 720p content. Also being an Oled you have a better viewing angle. I have the Hisense 55"H9F in the bedroom, SDR up scaling needs work its good but grainy and also bad posterization. Hisense still need to work on their processing chip that is the only holding them back but then again Sony, Samsung and LG have a premium space whereas Hisense is in the Budget category as of now.

I absolutely Differ. First of all. I know a lot of TVs. All the Sony in 2021 were made by LG. Hisense is 3rd BIGGEST TV provider in d world . Sony does NOT even make top 5 now. They are Top 3 in USA n CAnada, but ppl living in North America have this bubble n think everything “best REcognized here is the best in the world”. --including myself. H9F is 4 yr OLD model. In tech, 4 yr is like insane. It’s like Me using iPhone XS ,,,still using iPhone XS talking about TOday when the Newest model is iphone 14 pro “oh i used apple product , i have iPhone XS… its this issue, its that. It was so expensive (back then). “ hey no bad blood. Just saying I got HIsense H9G/Q9G. Next yr i got Hisense U8G, n this yr i bought Hisense U8H, after spending 1 hrs tweaking the tv in store n comparing to Samsung QN90B…(cuz i didnt know i was gonna get another TV). Apparently the HISENSE 2020 model was a MAJOR UPGRADE. Also this yr 2022 Model is another MAjor UPGRADE. Like iPhone 11po was not much upgrade from xs, iphone 13 pro was NOT much upgrade from 12pro. So i hope u give Hisense a chance. Cuz what ppl’s reaction of this “omg” thing is real. Including myself. ITs STUNNIGN in person watching the store demo. TRUE black, SHARP, CLEAN. Its diff era.

Just get a Amazon Vivio Metal TV tall stand in white . It has tray holds sound bar . D white ones r so elegant . I have one with wheels . I turn them around when I sit in couch or at dinning table .

I know of that tv but outside of it being oled and the issues people are talking about I don't have enough info to give you a real answer. If you want to try it, on the hisense website they have a 100 day return deal for 65 in and up if you register it within 14 days.

@@Itzjakebruh The S95B is a top tier TV, so coming from that, the bar will be set pretty high. So someone like you may not be overly impressed with the U8H.. The question isn’t “is the S95B better than the U8H?” It’s “is the S95B worth the extra $1,000?”

Viewing angle is FINE. UNLESS u have like HUGE house, big circle wide couch, ppl come in to visit prob NOT going to like watch much TV at far end of room. I have had 2 Hisense flagship panels n i have moved once. diff setting , viewing angles all good.

I tried this tv with my 4090 and it has very bad ghosting at 4k 120. I have tried both 2.1 ports. 3 different cables hdmi is on enhance and it shows 4k 120 but its just horrible ghosting. Its fine on my ps5 but don't buy this tv if you're looking to game at 4k 120.

The problem with Hisense TV's isn't their design or their engineering, that part is great. The problem is their reliability. They simply do not last. I spoke to a Hisense rep that covered the Denver Metro Area a few weeks ago. He confided in me that of the 36 Hisense TVs on demo/display in various electronic stores around the Denver area 24 of them had either broken or failed entirely over a six-month period and had to be replaced. That's a ridiculously unacceptable level of failure for ANY type of consumer electronics device today. Until Hisense can get their reliability issues resolved (and they appear to be a VERY long way away from doing so), they should absolutely be avoided - at all costs. (Hint: Pay more and purchase a Sony instead. They are #1 rated for reliability over the past 25 years. The old saying really is true: You get what you pay for!)

This tv does not play 4k at 120, I’ve done tried. It’s kind of a gimmick. And the hdr basically is a waste of time on ps5. standard mode should not look better than enhanced mode but it does. everything looks like shit as soon as you move it to enhanced mode with hdr.
