You keep saying the qm8 wins this or that because of mini LED, but the u8k is mini led as well. You also misrepresent the wattage on the speakers of the u8k, it is 50 watts not 30 and you say it does not have a subwoofer while showing it in the video. It honestly seems like you have no clue what you are talking about....

That or they have a TCL bias and wanna help promote them. Hell the guy talking doesn't even sound human but instead AI.

you need to mention which model you are comparing. All QM8s don't have 2300 dimming zones. Don't sensationalize it.

While discussing audio capability of the Hisense U8K, this video overlooked its *built-in subwoofer* at 6:25 seconds. The moderator was talking about the U8K's "lack" of a subwoofer while showing it on the back center of the unit. Having said that, connecting an external speakers or a sound bar sound is still strongly recommended for better audio.

This video feels like it has a very strong TCL bias.

Excellent Review sir! I was actually out looking for a 65" TV for my Bar/Lounge area of my home. My criteria: Overall solid PQ, mostly in a darker environment, although there are windows in there. Sound Quality was a BIG factor as I do not want to use a soundbar as I am hanging it and want to limit extra mounting and additional peripherals and Best Bang for my Buck. Initially a VERY helpful and knowledgeable salesman at Best Buy (who ironically is from Japan and Sony certified), when I gave him my criteria, showed me the TCL. It was very impressive! In fact, I was prepared to buy it. Unfortunately they had none new in box for sale. Not even for ordering online. A testimony to the popularity of this TV. I need the TV now for a big NEW YEARS EVE party we are hosting at my home. So at the latest, would be 2 days from now. He then said, you know what, we have a really nice Hisense that is super comparable. Although they were not side by side, when I watched content on the U8K, my eyes were just as impressed and I have really good vision without need for glasses. Although we did not test out the sound quality, on paper, the U8K clearly wins in this important area for me. Plus, it was new in the box ready to go. So I bought it for $900 (same price as the QM8). I also read a detailed review on RTINGS that I have trusted for many years. They pointed out that the U8K was better out of the box without calibration. That is VERY appealing to me as well. They also have it edging out the TCL very slightly. Splitting hairs really. I do know a thing or two about TV.s and great PQ as I currently own a Sony BRAVIA XR X95K and a Epson 5050UB in my Home Theater showing on a 135" Silver Screen.

Incorrect data on the 65 qm8... dimming zones for 65 is 1080. The Incorrectly Quoted 2300 dimming zones is on the 85" and 98" variants.

I don’t think that he even mentioned that the U8k has a nextgen 3 OTA tuner and the QM8 does not!

Last years U8K? The U8K released in 2023. In the U.S the u8k runs on android 12 and Google TV. the same as QM8 does.

TCL has a lower picture upscaling, which is extremely important if you are watching sports on regular HD and not HDR or 4K... Hisense has a really good upscaling, even better than the Sony 90L

Indeed. While I do think the QM8 is the better TV (better in some areas, slightly worse in some), it's just by a hair. These two models are almost completely equal to each other overall. It really depends on use case and individual preference as to which one they should get.
@vgnvideogameninja293010 ай бұрын
Wrong. The 65" QM8 only has 1080 local dimming zones. Only the 85" and 95" have 2300 dimming zones with the 75" in the middle with 1920 dimming zones.

At 6:15 U8K has 30 watts speakers total? No it’s 50 watts 2.1.2 and it has a bolt in subwoofer hence what the 1 in 2.1.2 means it has 5 speakers total, 2 tweeters at 5 watts each, a 20 watt subwoofer and 2 10 watt bottom speakers lol dood
