The price difference between the US n UK models is crazy. Most importantly, performance of the u8n u7n varies according to region, hisense should work on uniform performance among it's flagships globally like LG Samsung..

I’d never buy Hisense because of the relative UK price.

At the moment of writing this comment this TV in 65" size is $999 or arround 80% cheaper in US compare to UK version !!! Are people in England, Great Britain and UK aware of this ???

Rather get the TCL c855 in the UK at £1299

I commented on the Sony channel that they were driving the UK & EU into the arms of Hisense and the U8N for those who want a Bravia 9 in 65".

no one reviews the 75 and 85 inch ones in the USA.

Strangely the brightness results on this TV seem to variate quite a lot between different reviewers. Which tells me the model has a high performance lottery unit to unit.

Hi Phil.... thank you for the review... always helpful. Hisense TVs have strange issue with ARC/eARC out that sound keeps on becoming garbled/distorted for few seconds continuously. I am one of the user and worked with Hisense support without any resolution yet. Have you tested ARC/eARC out to an AVR for half an hr or so and seen the same issue? Many have reported this on reddit as well.

Not worth it for the price in the UK, can get nice OLEDs for same price and in some cases cheaper
@n.h1872 ай бұрын
Yep Hisense definitely overpriced it as it's now 1499 in Currys (though still too expensive, it should be around 999)

Oled tv’s has shorter life span. Price : lifespan = actual price.

I wonder where's the limit, if they keep increasing dimming zones and brightness every year
@ChesterMan-qd3xj2 ай бұрын
Over the last 5 years we got mini-LED, which meant nothing. Then started adding more dimming zones, which didn’t help that much either, because processing couldn’t drive all the zones well. This year, it seems like it’s all coming together. I feel like LCD TVs are improving more than OLED.

blacks look very disappointing, whats going on there?, they should be inky black on the black bars at least with that many dimming zones?

My blacks are great on my 65 inch
@McKluskie2 ай бұрын
@@adamlee007 Black performance of LCD is very subjective and depends more on the environment you are watching the TV, Even a small amount of light in the room will completely transform your perception of the blacks. If they say the black bars are grey then they mean they are grey In a darkened room which is an instant fail for me.

Why it will be beaten in 2025 and 2026 etc - If I was going miniLCD I would get 98" 855 in my country cheaper than the B9 85" by a 1000 quid plus - it beats the B9 in some area, fails in other, but price and size absolutely smashes it,. Tired of fan bois making stupid comments that are irrelevant for people who are better served by this or a TCL in this price range. The B9 at 85" is a stupid price in my country , given it will be an average Tv in 2 or 3 years. If I wanted Sony I would give this a few years till they can do what's promised ie 4000 Nits . Hopefully a 90" ( my preferred size), Not interested in watching BS low bitrate crap anyway. Plus I can process that stuff much better than Sony can . Plus I watch in a dark room so a LG G4" 83" will beat the B9 85" senseless . Yes the B9 is a great TV for mixed use family , but I see no reason to pay more for it than the cheaper G4 in my country, it's contrast side by side is easily inferior, in isolation it's great
