Is the bevelled edge in your door glass sloping to the right, and looks like it was assembled by somebody who was drunk? And, does your pump switch on and off continuously when draining and spinning? For more, see my main comment.

What happens to quick wash if you place more than 1kg?

It will still wash but it will take a lot longer to wash than the time stated on the display. Also the washing performance won't be as good as if you use one of the longer programs

I ljust sort by the labels, so got 40 and 30 degrees washes. underwear and towels at 60, if the towels are hardly used I put them on a 30 quick. New clothes always do it separate at 20

Thank-you, that was very interesting.and very informative introduction to my new recently purchased Hisense 7kg washing machine ..... The spin cycle is very loud, is that a sign that the machine is not sitting on a level surface??

It could be the type of flooring surface it is sitting on that can make a difference to the noise level of the washer. Also it could be noisy if the machine isn't level, so i would check to make sure it is level on the floor.

Our last one (Whirlpool) was a skinny one. Just over 40 centimeters depth, 6 kg. I was suprised to see how much clothes it can take in, given its size. Unfortunately, it had a standard motor and did create a lot of sound, especially during spin cycles

underwear and towels at 90... i used to wash them at 60, but one time i tried 90 and felt it makes a big difference (although it might be psychological)... everything else at 40, except wool and sensitive fabrics at 30

Just a quick question about this model of hisense, I think it has not option of drying the clothes, is not it?? I would like to know, because I have bought same model and unfortunately whenever I have washed clothes they come wet not dry

Unfortunately on a lot of washing machines, the programs are long as they should be more energy efficient that some of the quick washes

Two questions regarding the slimness: 1. How it affects the durability, eg the wear of the drum axis 2. How it affects the volume/ space of the drum? Thanks for answering!

Slim machines to be honest are never that great. First of all the drum capacity is always limited and also sometimes the machine can walk out of position. This is because there is limited space for the concrete block at the top of the machine. Unless you are really limited behind the machine with pipes, i would go for a standard depth machine.

It is very good little washing machine and so quiet! only downside i find are the the buttons under display feel cheap and clunky, but the wash selector knob feels VERY good and solid. On my channel short introduce video.

How about the longer preset timer on this machine, even the mixed fabric is set at minimum 1:58 and every other programs are also quite longer any idea which wash programs you use the most for everyday use except for quick wash ?

I always wash at 20 degrees but if I am washing bedsheets or towels I only wash them no higher than 40 degrees

Could you please do a video explaining the actual temperature that “Eco 40-60” programmes run at? I’ve been Googling it since you mentioned the programme on this machine, and have struggled to find a definitive answer. I believe there is an official definition from the EU or other organisation which some manufacturers appear to have quoted on their websites, but it doesn’t appear to answer my question. On various forums I’ve read quite a few people seem to be reluctant to use it as they’re concerned that items which should only be washed at a maximum of 40 degrees could be washed at 60 degrees, as the temperature can’t be set manually. Conversely, other people are concerned that as an eco programme it might only run at 20 degrees, and they believe this may not clean as well as a 30 or 40 degree cycle. I would be most grateful if you could clarify the situation in a dedicated video. I hope you’ve had a good Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year.

I've just bought a 12 kg hisense and not sure what the symbols mean on options menu etc... my question is are the options the same on all hisense machines, it would have helped a lot if you did a close up of the symbols on display so I can check with mine, never the less great video...EDIT...what is the Down program for ?

Down is the feathered under layer of waterfowl. Used to fill puffer jackets and duvets.

I wash at 20 because i use dr beckmann sheets, i can do that because there is no residue.But i would probably use 40 if i really stained. If i was using powder i think need to use 40oC and use extra rinse. I ve had my hisense 6 months now. No problems however i think i would pay for it to be levelled properly.

I have the same model and found although quick wash is 15 mins when I put a full load in, time went up to 55 mins, don't forget it weighs clothes before each cycle and adjusts the time. I mainly wash on sports (low spin) which is about 1 hr and do extra spin works just as good, hope this helps..By the way you can't reduce timer..

My 19 year old Candy died suddenly recently (I believe the spider failed). I bought the 6KG version of this machine, and I have some observations. The first thing I noticed was how shallow the depth is. My wooden floor is uneven, and once the machine is under the counter, adjustable rear feet and spirit levels are useless. I've adjusted the front feet, but stability is an issue. Secondly, I was pleased to find the drum pulley is metal, and not plastic. I was surprised to see the pulley end of the brushless motor is encased in white plastic, with the rest of the motor metal. Thirdly, my machine is made in PRC, and the bevelled part of the door glass (usually at the top) slopes to the right, as though it was assembled incorrectly? I'm trying to ascertain if this is an assembly fault? ... 16:24 So, it is a design feature! Fourthly, the brushless motor is beautifully quiet, however, when draining and spinning, the pump continuously switches on and off, producing an annoying gurgling sound from the sink! Again, is this normal? Or is it a fault? I've never known a machine to switch the pump on and off continuously? I always ran 90 degree maintenance washes, with bio detergent and a limescale tablet once a month. I also left the door ajar to dry the drum out (this also protects the door seal, and prevents leaks). No mould, rust, or smells, and my machine lasted 19 years! Washing machines, and particularly dryers, should NEVER be left unattended! It's a serious fire hazard! The pump and drain hose was on the left of the Candy, and the water and drain is also on the left in my kitchen. However, the pump and drain hose are on the right of the Hisense, and consequently tge drain hose will not reach the u-bend under the sink. I had to unscrew the upper hose retention clip, to make the hose reach the drain. Not sure if this will affect drain performance? Or whether washing up water will enter the machine?

stability has been an issue as well. where it walks out quite a lot, but seems ok atm, and I had the same issue with the outlet pipe. where it would't reach the outlet, so I took it off as well

​@@witchqween Have you discovered the AWFUL filter? It's the worst design I've ever seen! The filter is set back 2 inches. There's no draining tube, like some machines have. There's a channel in front of the filter. When you unscrew the filter, water gushes out, filling the channel and running underneath the machine. The water even ran underneath my fridge! Not good if you have carpet or fancy flooring? The water will rust the case of the machine over time. It's a REALLY stupid design! Did the manufacturer's not notice this?

@@marcse7enI havent seen the filter, but tried to unscrew it a few weeks back but it was stuck, and the door does appear slanted from the inside, but I think thats how they designed it.
