His mind is open to everything that might be interesting, right or wrong. It’s all just innocent curiosity. Also, we really don’t know what passes through his mind excepts in battles, that’s he’s more dangerous than anyone. (Not talking about physical capabilities but his psychology in the HxH world) Well, you probably get a glimpse of it while watching the whole anime the reasons why *he* is like that.

Yea, Hisoka's not just a mindless killer. If he sees potential in someone, he wants them to reach that potential first. It's like a way of testing himself. He's just admiring Gon at this point, like pretty much everyone else in the show. :p Also, Killua's my second favorite, next to Hisoka, but he would EASILY lose against Hisoka right now. Still a savage, just means Hisoka's an even bigger savage.
