@KuzuTomoki ok for the thought I want to believe that they think in a fraction of a second like ok during reflexes that's what happens, especially since these characters are used to fighting at 200km/h, but how do you explain that Kirua and Gon, when a ball arrives at Tetsunobu at 130 km/h that they have time to basically say "ey bro watch out there's a ball coming behind you" like they also speak in a fraction of second orrrr ? 😂 (I'm not criticizing the anime, it's one of my favorite animes, it's just this phenomenon that catches my attention every time I watch the game)

in this game of dodgeball hisoka's ability definitely has the greatest advantage here. He can catch(or help catch) the ball the easiest, bring back the ball the easiest, and bounce the ball back to the other side. Hisoka held back his nen ability the entire game and only chose to be tactful about returning the ball back to Razor at the end when it mattered the most(returning a ball Gon had thrown with all his effort). He was definitely the most dangerous in terms of the rules of this game.

It's always so difficult to recommend or explain this series to people. Some episodes like this are incredible, but then you've got the beginning arc with the food hunters that are super lame. Then you've got the chimera ant arc which is simultaneously kino and uncomfortable. The kino being just about everything, the uncomfortable being Yuupi and Puff becoming weird maternal figures to their leader's burnt barely alive corpse. Lol it's so good, but also so strange. You need to be in a particular headspace to really enjoy it as an outsider, but I can't imagine what the more casual fans must think.

the idiots arguing hisoka beats razor are insane, hisoka plays around but it’s not like he plays with his life, the only reason he “played around” with kastro was to put on a show and because it was something of a test. this isn’t a show, and hisoka was on guard the entire time, in order to catch just ONE ball from a razor only around 1/7th of his total power, and then potentially a decreased power for the attack bc his nen beast caught it broke too of his fingers and pushed him back a few feet. a lot of people are referring to a panel in the manga but im still waiting on where anything states hisoka beats razor, its mostly speculation because hisoka is on par with chrollo and ,since he’s the leader of the troupe they automatically hold him in crazy high regards, but Razor was strong enough to make the troupe , a group of prideful people who have stated several times they don’t follow rules and take what they want, to turn back and go the proper way into the game. you could argue that it was because of the card but I doubt they knew the applications before they got into the game, because in the game shalnark was still explaining spells. Razor states gon is a monster because of his immense aura and potential, but Bisky also stated both Gon and Killua were monsters based on the same premise. Hisoka only likes Gon because of said potential. The nen puppets Razor has are too coordinated and advanced for hisoka to counter with just bungee gum, and Razors attack power far surpasses hisoka’s own.

Better storyline, better fights, carismatic characters. Hunterxhunter has nothing interesting. Dragging story, dull and unfunny characters. The insect saga is real rubbish.

I do agree with the dragging story, not really with the other things though; the problem with the chimera ant ark was how slow it was, but that can be put together with the dragging story complaint. ​@@smudgethemonster9194 Hisoka is a great character because his motivations are simple and his design and way of using his Nen is creative, he just wants to fight strong people and having fun, thats it. The chimera arc was slow because that was the whole point of that arc, my personal opinion about it is that it was a masterpiece in story telling and the subject it touched was really well put into what it means to be human, all in such a short period of time. And while the whole "vibe" of hxh was fun, colorful and cool fights, that arc in particular was the opposite, it became dark and changed it entirely. I do believe this was the main issue with the people watching it for the reasons above. Having nothing interesting is also quite a stretch. Togashi is a great story teller and has really fun ideas, Nen functionality for example is great imo, and while he really doesnt dive deep into the character motivations in hxh is because the characters are really simple, he just uses hxh as a sandbox for cool ideas and concepts. Having no ties into what story to make for his simple characters lets him have fun while drawing and thats the whole point of HxH, making it fun for him to make.

The only motivation Hisoka has is fighting people, and for some reason he has to be sexual about it. His whole character is so unnecessary. It hurts me to exist in the same world Hisoka fans exist. The original comment was just about how hxh in general is bad and somehow I've managed to fit so much Hisoka hate into this conversation.
