Yeah for this video you really have to speak French and know European TV commercials, she's basically just poking fun at typical commercials (in Europe at least) and there are so many hidden jokes in all the texts and stuff, it's genius

I think the message for this song is that usually commercials strive hard to make the product into looking perfect when actually it isn’t really as perfect as the commercial claims it to be, this goes well with the lyrics because she said “look at my smile, look closer” as she was faking her happiness knowing the guy was stringing her along.

It's normal you don't get the video, she is parodying French ads - she's talking about indecision, you can understand it as an in&out relationship or a critic of society 🤷‍♀️

@@mounamouna745 En fait elle fait une critique de la société de consommation et des acteurs des publicités. En ce qui concerne les paroles, ce serait une suite logique de "Perdus". En soi ça colle assez bien avec la vidéo, avec une mise en scène - dans les pubs - qui nous fait croire que le produit est parfait pour nous, alors qu'en réalité il y a pleins de choses négatives derrière cette façade - comme une relation amoureuse.

On-jel, but the J is a sound we don't use in English - it's the last sound in the word "garage" pronounced the American way. Oui ou non is just wee oo non, but the second 'n' is nasalised (pinch your nose and say "known"). Practise it, WPK!

I think she's criticizing the fact that most of the times products that are being advertised are not as good as they are portrayed on tv (you see the sofa 10 year guarantee but it looks like it's about to break or the perfume part where at the end the guy is disgusted by the scent) or how misleading are the info they put on ads ( calf scene, they put in the middle of the scene 'local producers/farmers' and very tiny letter at the bottom scientific words which no one understands, but to mock them i think she put random words lol, same for the scene where she cooks pasta as ad of a cooking oil which apparently is omega free, no calories, no oil lol, no fun and she put even idioms). Also how they discriminate women (as if women are so weak that are not able to properly do their job, or when they gift eh little girl a doll, which was made by poor children btw). There a more in the mv i just pointed out the ones that i noticed :) Btw i just discovered your channel and i love your reaction videos of Angèle!

The song is about indecision in a relationship, so she asks her crush if it's yes or no, and tries to convince him/her that she's the right person. I think the video is all about advertising yourself. But also about lies when trying to seduce. Like smiling on social media to seduce her crush (as she says in the song).
