Una maravilla, algo nunca visto, un verdadero regalo para los sentidos y para el alma, sobre todo para los que somos incondicionales amantes del arte flamenco, cómo sería de espectacular que causaba furor en tantos países donde actuó, un verdadero embajador de lujo para España frente al mundo. Tuve el placer y el honor de conocerlo en persona , hablamos, fue emocionante, finalizaba la década de los sesenta, yo era una jovencita por aquel entonces, pero ya apasionada por el cante y baile flamenco y sus palos y toda la belleza de la música española, más que nada la andaluza con todos sus aires

I like the classical music of Manuel De Falla eg 'The Three Cornered Hat'. I have never seen it actually danced in balketic flamenco style.Looks impressive.

This is very skilled but I prefer the less respectable, less stylized, sanitised etc raw flamenco, with just acoutic guitar, dancers, someone banging out the rhythm. But yo make it acceptable to m a instream audiences, like with Anglo equivalent of such music ie hard rock, nlues etc, they have to make it appear more polished, refined etc. It looks more impressive but it loses something, emotionally, which probably doesn't mater to the middle class ausiences now consuming such entertainment, as they cannot relate to its original form and ferlings it tried to express. Only the poor people such music comes from can understand its true feeling, on a purely emotional level. And they wouldn't be attending such 'concerts'. They just do it spontaneously, in the sleazy back street alleys, in run down old slums etc. It is not created as respectable, mainstream type music. But it often is borrowed and used to create more refined music eg classical music, popular modern day music as ls etc. What I find incredible is how poor folk doing hard manual labour type jobs or une mployed, no education,no 'music' or 'ballet' lessons etc csn come up with such incredible creativity. It reaffirms my belief that, if your child is truly gifted, they don't need music etc lessons to express themselves. They just do it naturally.
