Hey guys! I'm actually currently live over at twitch.tv/historynerdlive playing some Assassin's Creed Valhalla! The game is set in England during the time period in which I actually study and will be writing my thesis on next semester! The support lately on this channel the past couple weeks has been INSANE, thanks so much! :)

His book is public domain now, so it’s available to read online for free. It’s worth a look, but prepare your brain.

He married into wealth and somehow was never murdered, he had at least a little charisma.

@@dudemcfurgusson7179 He had charisma alright, his stupidity WAS his charisma. He had the Doofus perk, that gives you a point in charisma for each point of intelligence you don’t have. Hence why he had a wife, and rich friends who tried to play pranks on him. The doofus perk also went perfectly with his luck stat, combining to have every prank played on him turn into a complete success for him.

He was Charles J. Guiteau. What's hilarious is that when I googled how to spell his last name right, I found that Google labels him "American author". Ummm....sure.

Calling him an author implies that the book he wrote is more important than the assassination of President Garfield, which I honestly can't completely disagree with. Like, let's be honest here: how many people actually care about Garfield? Not a lot

Fun fact: my old hometown had a Pizza Hut, which went under, and the property was bought by McDonalds. They chose to level the building and make a new one in their own design.

A good code of conduct is to let their ads play out, they make good chunk of their earnings on the ads they make and if you are going to show his content and react to it, the gentleman thing to do is to listen to their ad in case your views dont go watch the original video.
@RyanPetersonReacts

That's not how sponsorships work. The ads that get put into a video through youtube's monetization are the ones dependent on watch time. A sponsorship is an outside company specifically targeting, in this case, Sam to reach out to his audience. Depending on the deal, the amount of clicks Sam's link gets to the sponsor's website gives Sam more money. Merely watching the sponsorship does not do anything for Sam except increase his average watch time which is certainly a good thing for Sam but does not ultimately reflect the payout from the sponsorship. And this is a channel that reacts to historical content, the sponsorship does not have such content for me to react too. If there are any skips/cuts in my videos, that is me editing out the regular ads but still watching them. Second, just because I do not watch a part of the video for my reaction does not mean that I do not continue to finish off the video once my recording has ended.

@@RyanPetersonReacts I've seen some reactors at least put the referral link up just in case someone watching the reaction channel wants to use it, since that's what actually gets the creator money. either way though.
