One thing about this series is that it goes in depth with every theatre of the war, something I didn’t get in school where the primary focus was on Europe (and in my case Canada’s contribution to the war effort) with some lip service paid towards the pacific war, but only major events like Pearl Harbor, Midway, Iwo Jima and the atomic bombings.
