Have you ever wondered why tall hats used to be in fashion all over the world, especially among the rich and nobility, and now there is no trace of such a fashion? At most, you can take, for example, the royal family of Great Britain, other European countries, and see small hats, tiaras, wide voluminous headbands for women. Although earlier, some 100-200 years ago, the trend was high cylinder hats for men, and for women - high extravagant hats and hairstyles with the style of "explosion at a pasta factory" as high as a five-story building. Moreover, such a fashion for a height on the head has haunted mankind since ancient times. For example, the Egyptian pharaohs wore high hats, it is not entirely clear how these things were kept on their heads. Or Babylon - also something similar. Jewish Pharisees - also in style. And even the Scythians with their caps - there too. And how do you like the ancient Chinese fashion, which has come to naught relatively recently. And here is the medieval European version. Where does such a pull to visually lengthen the shape of the head come from? And why did this tendency persist among almost all peoples for many centuries? Where is the source of such a strange fashion?
It could be attributed to the fact that just in a high headdress it is impossible to plow normally, build, and generally do any physical work. Therefore, tall pieces on the head, most likely, personified power and distance from the common people. But it turns out that some hats were not enough for them. Many peoples, including the Indians of the Americas, the Scythians, the inhabitants of Africa, Ancient Egypt, ..., had a strange tradition of squeezing the heads of babies so that as a result the skull was pulled up, and such people resembled people from a movie about eggheads. It is curious that most often, such manipulations were carried out in the estates of priests and those who are close to power.
Here is a bas-relief depicting Pharaoh Akhenaten and his family. Now it becomes clear how these tall hats were kept on the heads of the pharaohs. Moreover, there is a feeling that the craniums are not only narrowed, but also larger in volume, which is not typical for a normal person. But maybe we just imagined?
In the 1920s, a Peruvian archaeologist named Julio Cesara Tella discovered a real underground necropolis in the Peruvian city of Paracas. The contents of the tomb, in which about 400 tons of mummies rested, baffled experts. Most of them had unusual elongated skulls. Moreover, many of them were trepanned, that is, during their lifetime they were subjected to surgical operations. It is also curious that no human settlements were found near the necropolis. Each burial crypt contained about fifty valuables: weapons and tools, rich gold jewelry, crockery and llama skins. Most of the mummies were wrapped in the finest cloths woven from the finest multi-colored threads. The area of some paintings exceeded 300 square meters.
Most of the skulls were not just elongated. The same effect could be obtained by bandaging the head or squeezing it between two planks. The strange thing is that the volume of the cranium of the ancient Paracas is 25% larger and 65% heavier than that of humans. But maybe it's the result of some kind of mutation?
According to archaeologist Klaus Dona, the unique skulls contain one parietal plate, not two, as in humans.
On this topic, a symposium was held in Los Angeles, USA, where experts announced new results of DNA research on these skulls.
The main speakers of the event were the scientists Marzulli and Förster.
According to Megalith Marvels, Brien Förster, the author of several books on the subject and a recognized expert on the skulls from Paracas, has published the results of the analysis.
DNA analysis of elongated skulls from the Peruvian necropolis showed that they are not native to this region. For example, a study of an elongated skull with red hair demonstrated that the genetic material has a mitochondrial haplogroup U2e, which most likely originated somewhere in the Caucasus ... A little later we will understand what the Caucasus has to do with it.
Some DNA analyzes show that the elongation that exists on the Paracas skulls was not the result of an artificial cranial deformity, but was due to genetics.
Förster stated: “The DNA results were actually incredibly complex… It will take me a while to figure out what they mean. They clearly show that the elongated skulls belonged to those who were not 100% Native American. They were a mix or even, in some way, a hybrid of different genetic species of people.
It looks as if all the known races of people were bred in one race - the long-headed race.
