Historic Bentonsport

Welcome to Bentonsport! It is a town found on the Des Moines River in Southern Iowa. The town represents a step back from the modern times. When walking through here, it feels as if it is back in the 1840s. Minus the automobiles, of course ;).
The Villages Folk School is found within Van Buren County. As a matter of fact, a previous work trip took place to partake in blacksmith training for the park I'm training. The town only has a census of 40 people, which makes it a very kind community. Does it take a village? Why, yes, perhaps it does 😁
