"Veggie burger" appears in a 1985 Toronto Star television listing, and "vegetarian burger" was listed as one of the top trends of 1981 in the same paper. The ship has sailed from removing that from the common vocabulary.

😆 I remember that. IMO, a hamburger contains hamburg. A chicken burger, chicken. I veal burger, veal. “Burger” does not apply to anything specific. 🍔

That Price Chopper is closing in December they have lost a ton of business because of the pandemic. Everyone goes to Metro and Shoppers Drug Mart in that mall. The Price Chopper like the Zellers long before it are going deceased like the people buried in the ground. Thanks Doug Ford.
