Historic Cerussite Mine & Cabin in the Nelson Range

Today me(Torre) and my dude Christian took a short trip out to see if we could find a old abandoned Cerussite Mine and It's Cabin out in the Nelson Range. We had some luck and found the cool old cabin and her Mine just up the hill behind her. We just explored this one mine today but will be back because we could see a lot more tailing piles. But this mine and her little Cabin were great fun and me and Christian got to climb a old sketchy ladder in the process 😉.
Also Cerussite is a lead carbonate mineral, usually found in the oxidized zone of lead ore deposits. It is a very common weathering product of galena and other lead ore minerals.

@doug6885 we did, but the day was running out so didn't record. We are heading back again to explore the rest of the area, we will record the rest. Cool place for sure

@@LOSTWORLDCREW I got run out of Nelson as soon as it got dark by mice. First there was one, then two and I think I counted 8 before I gave up and slept outside. I found a mouse trap, baited it with some MRE peanut butter thinking I would get at least one of them. In the morning the peanut butter was gone, trap still set. I've stayed at all the popular back country cabins and never had a problem like that. No sign of them until dark.
