£1.19 for all that he bought, that's cheap. Today going in that shop that would be the price of a Mars bar. Off licences today are a ripoff, I'm down the road in Whiston and the local shop near me around Christmas time charged me £1.20 for a second class stamp, they are only about 70p, they didn't know what I was on about when I asked for a stamp, if it had Mohammed's face on it they would know what I meant lol. The milk they sell is £1.90, yet the Tesco extra down the road is about £1.70, Home Bargain's it's about £1.65. They are taking the piss these local shops and just slapping on any price they want which they shouldnt be doing. Good to see everyone using cash and not card. If people keep using card and smartphones then cash will be gone forever, and boycott any shop that refuses cash. I still use cash whenever I buy something, unless it's online.
