Historic Great Budworth - History Walks.

Historic Great Budworth in Cheshire is a hotbed of history.
The Church of St Mary and All Saints stands proudly at the heart of the village where a religious building has occupied the site since as early as
1130 AD. The church that we see today was constructed in the 15th and 16th century however Lady chapel that still stands today within the grounds can be dated back to the 14th century.
The quiet and picturesque back water of Great Budworth is renowned for its stunning beauty and in 2019 it was the setting for the latest BBC adaptaion of the classic 'War of the Worlds'.
